There are plenty of girls who are considered popular, but there are 5 main girls.
April McCane, long brown hair, pale blue-grey eyes, very pretty, queen bee.
Sarah Guilds, gorgeous, long straight blonde hair, bright blue eyes, full lips, considered to be 'the bimbo'.
Charlotte Fields, big blue eyes, long dark brown hair, looks like a model, considered to be 'the brains'.
Abby Lockwood, very pretty, long curly/wavy red hair, thin, big warm brown eyes, considered 'the brawn', only because she plays a lot of sports.
Then there's Renae Eaton. She has shining green eyes, long black hair that always looks like a giant fan is blowing it back as she walks, she is tall and thin, but still curvy, and even the other popular girls don't known much about her. She's fun it be around, but very mysterious. 'The Mystery'
The reason I describe them now, is because they are all in my last 2 classes of the day. Art and Design, and Woodshop. Why the top 5 girls are in woodshop, I have no clue.
"Shaun Bennett, I expect you at my annual party this Friday." April says touching my shoulders.
"Oh yes, Shaun, you can bring some male friends too, if you want." Sarah says, winking as she walks past.
Charlotte and Abby walk past, smile, but continue to their seats, its Renae that's the next to speak to me.
"Shaun." She greets me, sitting beside me. Her green eyes glitter in the light.
"Renae."
"My cousin said you were asking about Shae." She says, looking to the front of the class while the popular girls glare at her for sitting with me.
"Ashlynn?" I ask.
"Yeah, she goes by Ash, but her and Shae are my cousin's." She tells me.
"Oh." I didn't know that, you'd never guess.
"Yeah, and I know you, you're a heart breaker." She looks me in the eyes. "So whatever you plan on doing with my cousins, you watch it." I nod, staring into her emerald eyes.
After talking to the girls for 2 periods its finally time to go pick my princess up. As I get in my car, Andrew, a guy like me, who everyone says is a loser, comes up to my window.
"Shaunie-Boy, haven't seen you today." He says.
"Yeah, I been here." I shrug. "What's up? Cause I gotta go get Rosie."
"Oh yeah, I was gonna see if you wanted to smoke a little, but go get Rosie, tell her I said hi." I nod, saying goodbye.
I drive to the day care center listening to the radio. I can't help but smile at the thought of seeing Shae. Before I get out of the car, I throw some gum in my mouth, ya know, just in case.
