Offender leaves me in a room with a bed, a mirror, a toilet, and no windows or doors, "Now, I don't want you but until I get Carter you'll have to do it." I look around the room trying to find him, "Where are you?" I growl out. The room stays silent, I sigh in frustration and plop down on the bed. My hand touches something with a weird feeling on the sheets. I look down at the bed to find a dried puddle of blood, "That's Carters, stupid girl attempted suicide." Goosebumps travel up my body as I start chipping at the dried blood with my nail, "Are you ready to give her up?" His voice asks me, "No." I stop chipping at the blood and look up to see Offender standing next to the mirror, "Look in the mirror." I stand up and walk to the mirror. In the mirror is a version of me, surrounded by dead bodies of our friends, Carter is standing next to me holding a knife. We're facing each other. It looks like i'm begging her to stop, "This is the future, she will lose control and she will kill you all." His voice cuts out.

"I don't believe you" He appears in front of me.

"Look again." He smiles and holds up a red rose and a blue rose, "The red rose allows you to be set free if you give me Carter. And the Blue flower forfeits your life." He frowns, "If you will not give her to me, you will die" He goes to hand me the red rose, I smack it out of his hand.

"I would rather die than give her to you!" I snatch the blue rose and he growls at me.

"Oh, that won't kill you...You'll just lose yourself." He disappears. My heart aches for a deep longing for a moment before vanishing. I place my hand over my heart, dropping the rose to the floor, I lie on the bed and start to cry.

"What's wrong with me?" I ask out loud to myself.

"You, my dear, are losing who you are." My head goes fuzzy and I scratch at my neck with my nails. I sit up on the bed, staring at the mirror that's right across from it. I look at my reflection, I look at how pale my skin looks compared to my dark hair but also how the darkness of my hair makes the blue of my eyes stand out. I slowly stand and walk over to the full length mirror, I reach my hand out and touch it. Feeling the coolness of the glass against my skin, I shiver and pull my hand away. I stand there for a few minutes watching my reflection knowing that if I think about it hard enough I could break the mirror. Just as I'm about to give up it starts to crack, I laugh as the mirror continues to break.

"See that, I'm not fucking playing your games!" I yell into the empty space of the room. The pieces of the mirror fall onto the floor only to fly back up and repair itself, "Are you really willing to spend your life here, unable to watch your children grow? They'll never know who you are. Are you willing to give that all up just for a girl you barely know?" The presence behind me tells me where he is. I turn to face him, "I do know her, I know her better than anyone and I will protect her from you. Even if it means giving up my family." He disappears without a word. I go to the bed and lie down, I put my hand under the pillow deciding that if I have nothing better to do I'll just sleep. I lay there for a little bit when I feel something touch my hand. I sit up, lift up the pillow, and I see a box cutter laying there. I smirk, holding the box cutter in my hand, I make the blade go up all the way watching it shine in the light of the room. I take the blade down a few notches while laughing, knowing I've won this game.

"I'll see you later bitch," I say into the empty space while holding the blade to the side of my throat.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" His voice booms through the empty space, but before he can do anything I jam the blade into my neck right where the main artery is. I gasp roughly feeling the blood drain out of my neck as everything goes black.

~Carter~

I stop to catch my breath, Jack stops beside me. "You okay?" I nod my head and then take off once again. We ran for another few minutes when I broke through the clearing he had left me at the first time. I stop to look for clues about the direction they went, "Carter?" Jack says quietly. I face him, he has a hand on his neck with a pained expression, "Something's wrong." I close my eyes and concentrate on finding her Amara I think. I keep repeating it as I try to connect with her mind, "Carter." A voice replies in my head I get the same pain in my neck as Jack had gotten, but for me I got her location.
