Tanaka's POV
"Hey mom! I'm heading out!"
"Ok honey! Be back by dinner!"
I walked out of the front door and inhaled the scent of flowers. Spring was just around the corner and some of the flowers in our yard had already started to bloom. I adjusted the beanie I had on and opened the gate to our property and stepped out. I was meeting my friend Noya at a coffee shop that was nearby. I hadn't seen him in forever and I was glad that I would finally have the chance to catch up with him.
I walked into the shop and immediately spotted my friend. He was sitting at a booth by a window and staring at the window like it was the most interesting thing in the world.
"Yu!" I called out.
"Ryuu!"
I sat down at the booth and said,
"How've you been man?"
"I've been good." He glanced back out the window.
"Hey, what are you looking at?" I looked out the window myself and all I could see were a bunch of motorcycles parked in front of the building across from the shop.
"Oh, there were just some people that went in that building a while ago. One of them was kinda' cute."
My eyes widened and I felt a smirk make its way across my face.
"Why are you looking at me like that? You look like the cat that swallowed the canary."
"Oh, it's nothing~" I cooed.
Right then the waitress came up to our table.
"Hello and welcome to Karasuno cafe. May I take your order?" She asked in an upbeat tone.
"Could I get a pumpkin spice latte please?" I said and she nodded.
"I'll have a white chocolate mocha." Noya said. She nodded again and went to make our orders.
I noticed movement outside the window and looked to see a group of 5 people walk out of the building across the street. I nudged Noya's shoulder and pointed out the window.
"Hey is one of those the one you think is cute?" I asked him and he nodded.
"Umm, yeah. It's the tall brunette." He didn't have to point him out for me to know exactly who he was talking about. But, my eyes didn't land on him, they were drawn to another person.
He had the nicest looking chocolate brown hair with eyes to match. He was wearing jeans and a leather jacket with small metal spikes attached to it. He was in front of his little group so I assumed he was a leader of sorts.
In his group there was a smaller guy with bright orange hair who seemed like he should still be in middle school, a guy with longish green hair and freckles who looked a bit older than the orange haired one. The brunette that Noya had his eyes on was talking to a guy with silver hair that looked to be the same age as him.
The guy with the chocolate hair looked in my direction and we made eye contact from across the street, I blushed and looked down at the table, trying to shake away the butterflies that had made their way into my stomach.
"You see what I mean?" Noya asked.
"Yeah..."
The waitress came back with our drinks and I sipped on mine thoughtfully.
How could someone that cute be a biker? Like he looks more like a person to work as a teacher or something. And I've literally seen him once! Why am I like this??
~~~Time Skip~~~
Earlier Noya had gotten a call from his mom saying that he had leave, so I was left alone with just me and my thoughts. I don't know how long I was sitting there but I checked my watch to see that it was already 4:55.
Crap! Dinner's a five!
I quickly left some money on the table for the waitress and ran out of the shop. My house was a good 10 minute run from here so I decided that I would take some back alleys to get home faster. The sun had already begun to set and was casting scary looking shadows on the ground. I ran around a corner and was met with an unexpected sight.
"So, you've finally arrived. Wait, who the hell are you?" I heard someone say.
I let out a short scream and tried to run back, but my path was blocked by the silver haired guy and the brunette from earlier. I looked to see that the one who had 'greeted' me was none other than the biker I made eye contact with earlier.
I'm trapped.
"Who are you and what are you doing here." He growled at me.
"I'msorryIjustwastakingashortcuthomeandIranintoyouitwastotallyan accidenti'mreallysorrycanIgonow?" I asked all in one breath.
(A/N He said "I'm sorry I just was taking a shortcut home and I ran into you. It was totally an accident! I'm really sorry can I go now?")
I saw him sigh and roll his eyes.
"It's dangerous to be around here alone at this time of night. I'll escort him out." He said begrudgingly.
Everyone else in the group nodded and something came hurtling at me. On instinct I caught it and saw that it was a motorcycle helmet.
"Put that on." The leader commanded.
I traded my beanie for the helmet and connected the snaps under my chin. He had already turned his motorcycle and I could hear the engine going. I slowly approached the vehicle, honestly I was a bit scared to get on it.
"What are you waiting for? I don't have all day." He grumbled.
"Right!"
I knew I shouldn't have climbed on that bike, but what could possibly go wrong?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So I really have no idea how biker gangs work, the closest I've gotten to one is when they parked one of their trucks in my yard. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Have a nice day/night!
