Virgil has had a long day, school was hell. The casual they had for art insisted on using their deadname and she/her. They were really looking forward to art as well, after all it is their favorite subject and all the normal art teachers use the right name and pronouns. I mean Virgil had come out in year 7 so it wasn't hard for everyone to change over.

Logan however had the luxury of being cis. The teachers never missgenderd him and they gave him the most respect out of all the kids. After all he is the smartest and has never gotten below an A. Once again, Virgil is very different, they got mostly B's, which is above average but they still felt worthless.

Virgil and Logan have been dating since Virgil came out at school, they had been friends for all of year 7. Somehow Logan hadn't noticed Virgil's not-so-flat chest, Virgil did only wear a huge black and purple jumper or if he was hot a huge shirt (normally someone's merch) and jeans.

Once Virgil got a binder, it was over for everyone who was ever rude to them. They wear makeup, chains, skirts, button ups, stelatoes (which they can run in) and crop tops (which was definitely against dress code but Logan got them out of it every time). Somehow Logan fell in love with Virgil more and more every day, the way their hair was curly and dyed purple, the way their hands were always covered in paint and ink no matter how many times Logan got them to shower. Just everything about Virgil made Logan crazy.

Virgil and Logan drove home, (Virgil had gotten kicked out when they came out and so they live with Logan and his mum.) music blasting from the car's speakers. Smiles painted their faces as they pulled into Logan's driveway, they unlinked hands and Virgil put their black heels back on. Logan handed them their bag as the two lovers walked in the front doors, hands finding each other.

Logan and Virgil were greeted by Logan's mother and an unfamiliar face. "Hey you too-" Logan's mum called "Hey mum." Logan replied hugging her, Virgil did the same and said happily "Hey Patty, how was your day?" "Good, and I- I want you to meet someone. He might be your new father Lo." They all walked into the kitchen getting a snack and introducing themselves to Roman. "I'm Logan, my mum has probably shared way too much information about me already." Logan and Roman shook hands. "I'm Virgil, I'm nonbinary, I don't know if my boyfriends mum has told you much about me but you seem very nice." Roman proceeds to introduce himself and they all eat the cookies Patty made.
