The next night, Sierra had her well built, backup car with them, as they were preparing now tonight, to race two of the thugs that Monica Fuentes had hired originally, to make it legit.
"Fonzie and Fabio. So glad, that you can join us." Roman said coldly and a second later, Sierra hopped down into the pit, to land next to Brian.
"We heard that you boys, and your little lady over there, wanted to get rid of those Cracker Jack toys." One of them said to them and Sierra growled at them, snarling a bit.
"No, actually, we just figured that those cars you got deserve some a lot better drivers, which is why we're gonna be taking them off your hands tonight." Brian said.
"You know, why don't we settle this now?" The same one who had spoken before, asked and Sierra quickly had a hand in her pocket, where weapons, were waiting.
"Wait, wait, wait. How about we just settle this on the blacktop? Each car, does a down-and-back, tag-team style for slips. One of you guys, will have to sit out." Tej said, and Roman looked at Sierra, who shakes her head.
"My car has got everything and besides, Brian does not have his Skyline for this race. Come on, I could do this all on my own, if, I really were to need to." Sierra hissed as they had all taken themselves to the side.
"All right, Rome, you are sitting out for now. Sorry, bruh, but she's right in this case." Brian said quietly.
"Hey, let's just make this clear, right here, right now. The slip that you are getting if you beat me, is that car right there." Sierra points at Roman's car, as she got into her own car and the thugs just scoffed at her.
"There is no way, that we are going to be beaten, by a little girl." The one, for the orange car stated and she coughed at his words.
"Call me little again, and you will regret it, asshole." She spat and he looked at her with flared up eyes.
"You have got this, kid! Just trust in your instincts!" Brian called out and Sierra inhales sharply, as she shut her eyes.
Dominic was laughing and smiling with her, as they worked together on her first car, the Viper that she loved so much.
"You ready for this, kid? It's your first race today. So, you just remember, you just trust your instincts."
Sierra opened her eyes as the memories faded away and Rome was hooting and hollering.
She looked over at Brian, who, at the sight of her unusual nerves, he got out of his car and he squeezes her hand a bit, just briefly, before he was back in his car.
"Ready, and go!" Suki shouted and suddenly, the cars, they shot off into the darkness towards the barrel, that Tej had set up.
Sierra was catching up to him, real quickly, around the barrel, until he'd smash her into the fence. She staggers around, swervin' the wheel quickly to drift expertly around the barrel.
She used the NoS spray tanks that she'd put in herself and she passed him quickly, almost beating him and they passed the line at the same time.
"Go! Go, Brian now!" She screamed out at him, as she shot by him with a screech of tires, as she stopped, rather expertly, drifting back, right back to her starting position.
She watched as Brian played a great game of chicken, and won, leaving the other guy off the track, as he used his NoS and beat the guy, just barely now.
"Come on Brian!" Sierra screamed loudly and he whooped loudly as he beat the blue car by barely even a full foot of space.
Sierra cheered loudly and hugged Brian at once, her eyes wide with a huge excitement. "Yo, Roman, I told you, that I would get you the orange one. Didn't I?" She asked and he nods at her.
"Yes, you did." He said as they all drove off, with her grinning like a mad person, as they drove off in their new cars and Sierra drove hers.
