|| Spring's POV ||

I opened the soda can and took a swig, passing by all the rooms. The music was just as loud in the halls as it was in the main room, and it was annoying as hell.

As I kept walking, I suddenly found myself stopped at the room before mine. Goldens. Why was I waiting there? No clue. But my body decided that yeah, this was the place to be.

I stared at the door anxiously. I told Freddy that I wasn't going to apologize nor forgive Golden, hell, I dont even wanna see him. But Freddy knew us better than we knew ourselves. We needed each other, in a weird sort of way.

Without thinking, my arm raised to knock on the door. I quickly stopped myself. What the hell?! I thought, why am I doing this?

I slowly put my arm down, and thought things over in my head.

Tomorrow. I'll get some sleep, eat something, take care of myself tonight. And tomorrow, I'll talk to him. Tomorrow I'm putting this whole thing behind me and making things up with this cute dumbass.

I traced the scar on my palm from where I was stabbed, and walked quietly back into my room, softly closing the door behind me. Tomorrow will be a good day.

|| Gold's POV ||

The party continued into the morning, but was stopped quickly at about 2am.

Relieved, I threw on a black hoodie and snuck out my door as soon as I was sure everyone was gone. Creeping down the hall, I made sure not to stand in the line of sight of the security cameras. Thankfully, they had wide blindspots, and were easy to sneak around.

I weaved my way around and about the tables of the main hall, and slipped into the corridor that led to the security room, as well as Prize Counter and The Closet.

I stared at the Closet's door from the entrance of the hallway. It was as large as the end of the hallway, and taller than any normal door. It was made of metal, and had a painted on design that looked like two simple doors. The paint was mostly scraped off, which left it looking rusty and broken.

As I took a step into the hall, the door to Prize Counter flew open. I froze in my tracks, because as soon as it did, Freddy stormed out and slammed the door behind him.

"What are you doing here?" we asked each other at the same time.

"Trying to go to bed. Puppet kept for an hour and a half to just complain about bullshit..." Freddy grumbled, biting his nail. "What... what about you?"

"None if your business," I deflected, rolling my eyes.

"It is my business, because if you dont tell me I can just walk right back into Prize Counter and tell Puppet. I'm sure they'll have no problem sending you straight to the Closet," he sneered.

"It just so happens that thats where I'm heading," I said back. Freddy lifted qn eyebrow at me.

"Why?"

"To apologize to someone. Something I'm sure you have no experience with," I said as I glared. "So stay out of my way."

Freddy furrowed his brow, thinking, before chuckling it off.

"Your funeral," he remarked, walking away.

I shook my head and hurried past the Prize Counter as fast as possible. When I got to the Closet, I realized something. There wasn't exactly any handles or buttons. The button to open it must be with the Puppet, I thought, shaking my head.

I sighed, and turned around. The only thing more intimidating that the Closet's door was easily the Puppet's cold, unfeeling way of speaking. That didn't matter to me though. I caused enough trouble as is, I would do anything to help get Spring out of this one.
