MAHABHARATA - The warrior princess

REAL FACE

Abhinaya was sitting in the swing and was talking to the orange tree. 

Abhinaya : I know you from my childhood. I met my guru and also his friend by you. I always come here to clear my confusions and you gave me two people who I considered as my fathers. I went because I had to complete my duties and now I am free. They made me enjoy my childhood as a child and not as a warrior. They gave me love and affection that I needed. They treated my wounds physically and mentally. When I met my parents after years I wished if I didn't feel complete. I want to see them. I miss them. Will they come?

Voice 1 : Looks like someone is missing us friend.

Voice 2 : Yeah. She finally remembered about us. 

Abhinaya was shocked to see the two people in front of her. She ran and jumped upon them. A thousand watt bulb reaction can be seen from her face. She was happy that the reflected was like the whole earth was happy. 

Abhinaya : Dhuri and Karn, I missed you. I would have come sooner but I was bound to keep my mom's promise. And I could't tell them I am here to see you guys because I know their reactions will be horrible. And mainly I am controlling all my emotions and I put a face there. They think I am strong and they think I am new to all the rules in the palace. They think since I am know as Karikalan I don't show my feelings. They think I am a cute jolly and funny girl. And mainly I don't like the Queen of Virata and she gets on my nerves every time and everyone think my power has only little effects. They think since I was born to co under mplete duties I killed everyone in seconds and I had knowledge of fighting since birth. I don't know how to say them and I wish they will not get on my nerves. I am confused and I am waiting for my friends to return. They think I got all the knowledge and love from maharishi. I think they still don't know the years I went missing and the years when I was captured in the demons prison. They think I get whatever I want.  

Abhinaya said in one go without taking a breath.( And yes the persons are none other than Karna and Dhuriyodhana. )

Dhuriyodhana : Abhinaya. Breathe. Why are thinking more and making a chaos inside your little brain? And we are here na. We are meeting after a long time come we will sit and talk.

Karna : Yeah Abhinaya. You will be surprised if you see what we have brought you. Come.

They sat under the tree and Dhuriyodhana and Karna opened the packs they brought. One was filled with ladoo , one was filled with Kheer, one was filled with Roti and dal, a basket full of oranges and many other dishes.

Abhinaya : How did you guys know I would come here.

Karna : Today we both had a intuition that you would come and Dhuri was very sure about it that he woke up early in the morning which even I was astronished by the fact.

Dhuriyodhana : Karna I am going to hit you.

Karna : OK I am sorry. Then I came to know he went to kitchen and started to prepare food by himself.

Abhinaya : Oh! Come lets eat I am hungry .

K and D : Yes your highness.

After having a wonderful dinner they faced the sky and started to talk.

K : Do you remember our first meeting.

Flashback :-

A little girl around four year was sitting under the orange tree with dry tears. She was sleeping. Suddenly she heard some one approach her and took the stance to fight. She saw two well built man standing in front of her with a confused look. 

Man 1: Beti. What are you doing here? Where are your parents? Why are you positioning yourself to fight by seeing us? We are not here to harm you.

Man 2 : Its ok keep the sword down. We have no weapons with us. We are completely harmful. I am Dhuriyodhana and he is my friend Karna. We used to visit this place frequently.

Little girl : I am here to take rest and I felt you were approaching. Sorry for my sudden move. I am a warrior and I thought you were my enemies.

Karna : I can see you are a warrior by the stance you took before and yes why are you having enemies in such an young age?

Little girl : I have to fulfill my duties for my birth and I have been assigned to assassinate demons. And I am a boy not a girl.

Dhuriyodhana : I don't know why are you hiding your identity but I can say you are too strong mentally for your age. 

Little girl : I don't want to converse with you .

D: Never mind. We came to enjoy so we will not disturb you. ( He said while looking at Karna and eyeing him )

K: Yeah yeah come lets go.

They both went and sat other side of the tree. They started to talk loud so she can hear what they say.

D: Do you know Karna I am going to eat all the ladoo by myself and you will not get any.

K : Dhuri give me one I am not willing to fight with you like a kid.

D : Oh, But still these are mine.

K : Dhuri don't behave like a child.

Little girl : How does a child behave? 

She came to them and asked. She don't know why she felt comfortable around them but yes she started to open up.

K : Come here. Look behavior of a child is they will be straight forward. They ask what they need and they take something if they want. They don't see others. Just like what he did now.

D : May I ask the little lady what's her name?

Little girl : (She thought for some time ) My name is Abhinaya.

K : Why are you hiding behind the black mask? 

A : Like I said I was assigned to do a task and I am not allowed to show my self in front of  the enemies and I don't want others to know I am a girl. But how did you identify me?

K : It was easy for me and I had a intuition you are definitely a girl by the look in your eyes.

D : Why don't you show us your face? I give you my word this place is shielded that no demon can enter. So don't worry.

Abhinaya removed her mask, they looked at her with smile. And they were also amazed to see a cute little girl behind the warrior mask.
