GABBIE SAT ON the edge of her bed, scrolling through the thousands of comments on the tiktokroom's newest post. really? a week? it started to make her think that all the rumors over the year about vinnie cheating/ seeing another girl while they were dating was true. "stop looking at those," normani yelled, through a pack of skittles at gabbie. "instead taste the rainbow bitch."
"i can't help it," she replied, throwing her phone down on the bed from second hand embarrassment. she flopped backwards, halfway hitting her head on her headboard, which wouldn't be the first time, as normani climbed on the bed next to her. "so fucking what. he's with a new girl that's probably as ugly as my left toe. they'll break up soon enough. i mean, you guys only lasted a year." gabbie just broke out into tears, just as harley and jace walked into her bedroom. "damn mimi, what did you do to her," harley shouted, rushing over to her best friends and engulfing her in her arms. "is this about the vinnie thing?" jace asked from the doorway.
"wait, what areyiu doing here? don't you know what 'girl's night' means," normami questioned, raising an eyebrow at jace who just shrugged his shoulders. "i like the drama."
"it's not normani's fault," gabbie spoke up through her hiccups. "i've been like this for a couple of weeks. yesterday, i threw my guts up all fucking morning," she explained as normani and harley eyed each other. "uhm, i might not be girl, but doesn't that mean like, i don't know..." jace drawled off, making facial expressions. it was quiet in the room before harley shouted, "you could be fucking pregnant!"
gabbie shook her head as normani walked out the room. "you're joking. we had....protection."
"yeah, which only works 97% of the time," harley rebutted as normai walked back in the room with a box, throwing it to gabbie. "what the hell is this?" she asked, trying to look for the words. "a pregnancy test, duh. rather you be safe than sorry." gabbie looked at her friends with a discouraged look on her face. "fine. but when you all are wrong, and i'm right, you all owe me some money." with that she stormed off to the bathroom, slamming the door. "yeah she's pregnant," jace mumbled to himself, earning a smack on the back of the head from harley. "oh like we all weren't thinking it."
