"James shut up! We aren't even in the same house, who cares if I try out?" Lily was extremely frustrated. She had really wanted to try out for the Ravenclaw Quittich team, but James wouldn't let her.

"Lily, you can't try out. I play Quittich! It's my thing!"

"Albus tried out and you didn't care."

"Yeah, because who cares if he falls of and breaks a few ribs?"

"Hey, I would care if I 'broke a few ribs'!" Albus looked up after hearing his name.

"I wasn't talking to you! Albus, Lily shouldn't play Quittich, should she?"

"No! Of course not!" Lily glared at Albus.

"Why can't I?"

"I don't want you to get hurt." James looked at her, pleading.

"Yeah, I don't want something bad to happen." Albus looked down and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Guys, I'll be fine. Plus, we haven't even started tryouts yet, I might change my mind by then." Lily hugged her brothers, then pulled away giving them a confused look.

"James, what's that?" Lily pointed at a gold trinket, it looked old but still very expensive. It was shining from a small hole in the wall. James went and pulled the golden thing out.

"It looks like a time turner, but it can't be, right? They were all destroyed. It's probably a fake or some sort of replica." Albus looked at it.

"I wonder if it works... give me it!" Albus grabbed the necklace from James. The 3 siblings started to fight over it, turning the tiny hourglass while they were grabbing for it. They started to feel funny, and next thing they knew they weren't right. They dropped the time turner. It busted to pieces on the floor. The three looked at their surroundings. They were still at Hogwarts, but the school looked older, like it did before it was rebuilt after Harry Potter vanquished Lord Voldemort. After a few moments, class doors started opening and students flooded the hallways. The only issue was that the students weren't from their time. They were the kids Lily had seen in textbooks about the war.

"Albus... what did you do?" James turned towards his little brother.

"I don't know! I swear it was an accident but I don't know!"

"I do," the boys looked at Lily, "Albus sent us back in time. This was before dad killed Voldemort, this was before the war. This was when mom and dad were in school."

"What year would they be?"

"I'm not sure, but we need to go to headmistress Mcgonagall, she can help us."

"Lily, this was before Mcgonagall was headmistress. We need to go to Dumbledore."

The three ran up to Dumbledore's office and looked at the door.

"Now what? We don't know the password."

"Dad told me once that Dumbledore's password is always the name of a sweet," Lily recited, "and he has a basket of Pepper Imps right here, so maybe that's the password?"

"That sounds like it might work," James looked at the statue guarding Dumbledore's office, "Pepper Imps." The statue moved and the 3 were able to walk up a staircase to Dumbledore.

"Hello, and who might you 3 be?" The old man greeted.

"Sir, it's an honor to meet you. I'm James, this is my younger brother Albus, and this is our little sister Lily. We have a problem."

"You 3 aren't enrolled. Well, not yet. How did you three get from 2017 to 1993?" This time Lily spoke up.

"We found a time turner and someone," she glared at Albus, "decided to test if it was real."

"I see. I will need to talk to the minister to see if I could get a time turner to return you home. Until then, you three may stay at Hogwarts so long as you do not tell anyone who you truly are. Say that you're orphans and don't know your last names."

"How do you know our last names?" Albus looked at the much older Albus.

"Well, it's not to difficult to see you're a Potter," he motioned to James, "since you look so much like Harry. And you," he motioned to Lily, "look so much like Ginny. And you," he motioned at Albus, "look like a mix of the two."

"Sir, one more question: what year are out parents in?" Lily spoke up.

"Well, your mother is in her second year, just like you Lily. Your father is in his third year, same as you Albus. And your uncle Fred and George are in their fourth year, same as you James. I will alert your head of house that they will have a new student. The teachers will all know your true identity. You will be provided all your books and other necessities when you get to your common rooms. Here are your passwords, exept Lily since you have a riddle. Come to me if you need anything at all."

They all left Dumbledore's office and walked back to their common rooms. There was a bed and chest for each of them, their school supplies already in a bag inside the chest. They couldn't wait to meet their family when they were still kids.
