1 - Two muffins for two muffins

(Y/n)'s POV

It was a normal day at your cafe. Boring.

A few people would come in and out buying miscellaneous items while exchanging as little words as possible.

The cafe was pretty new, so not many people came by. But, it paid well, so there you were, standing at the counter of an empty cafe, wishing you could eat the sweets in the glass box in front of you.

Ring ring!

The bell at the door snapped you out of your daze. In walked a boy, I'm guessing in his twenty's. He wore a light pink hoodie and grey sweatpants. He was carrying multiple plastic bags. He probably just went shopping. 

"Hello, sir! Welcome to Snowflake Cafe! My name is (Y/n), how may I help you?" I recited the usual greeting that took me a little longer to learn than it should've...

"Hi!" He exclaimed happily. 

Wow, his voice is high pitched.

I can't judge though, my voice is low for a girl.

"I'll have..." He bent down to look at all the pastries, his eyes skipping over most of the items before they landed on one section.

Darryl's POV

"I'm going shopping, do you want anything?" I asked my friend who was sitting on the couch.

"Oh!" He exclaimed, putting his head over the back of the couch, looking at me upside down. "Can you get me something from that new cafe pleaseeeeeeee?" He said using his childish voice at the end.

"Snowflake Cafe?" I chuckled at his immaturity.

"Mhm,"

"Ok, what do you want?"

"Just get me whatever," He put his head back in a natural position, looking at his phone

"Alright, I'll be back soon!" I hummed, grabbing the keys and walking out the door.

I smiled at the memory. "A strawberry muffin and a blueberry muffin, please!" I beamed, the smile still plastered on my face.

"Alright! That'll be (Insert price here)," (Y/n) said, leaning down to grab the muffins. I pulled out my wallet and grabbed the money.

Two muffins for two muffins.

"Here you go!" She said, handing them to me.

"Thank you!"

"Have a nice day!"

"You too!"

Ring ring!

And with that, I walked out the door.
