There was a thundering knock on my door. I raced to the door knowing it would be her. It had to be I thought she would show up and explain everything. Why she disappeared and was gone for so long. I slowly opened the door and I expected to see a gorgeous brunette but instead it was a man in police uniform. He asked if I was friends with her. They found her. She will be waiting for me at the police station. I nodded. “They found her.” He stated bluntly. Why did he say it like that? Oh my god. What if she is going to be arrested for running away? “Is she in trouble?” “No. She’s dead.”

I was woken up by the sound of my phone going off. I looked at my iPhone and saw the caller ID was a picture of my best friend, Adilene. Immediately, I answered it. “Good Morning, Adilene.” “Are we and the girls still going to Dario’s  tonight?” By the girls she meant our clique of Victoria, the kind of girl who charms you into trusting her then stabs you in the back and Tiffany, a dumb blond who couldn’t keep a conversation with a rock and is obsessed with material items. “Obviously. Have you gotten Tiffany a gift? It’s her 17th birthday dinner tonight!” “Yeah I got her a charm for her charm bracelet, but I can’t make it because I’m sick. Can you give it to her for me?” What? I don’t think I could survive an entire night with Victoria and Tiffany without Adilene. “Um sure. Feel better.” Then Adilene hung up. Victoria and Tiffany are Adiline’s friends not mine. I only hang out with them because of Adilene.
