How Magical Mirai 2019 Met Mirai Lion And Mirai Lioness

Chapter 3: Rescuing Alexis

Alexis screamed as she saw 2 lions they were about to eat her alive. Linda saw this and tried to get out of her cage. But she couldn't. She looked at the ground. Alexis dropped the lock pick. Linda tried to reach for it, but she couldn't reach. She brought out her long lion tail and used it to reach the lock pick. Her tail came back to her and she unlocked herself.

Mirai Lion: Linda, what about me?

Mirai Lioness: Don't worry. I'll get you out, too.

She used the lock pick on her brother's cage. Lionel stepped out and both kids went over to the lions' cage. Alexis was backed into a corner, scared and trembling. One of the lions was ready to maul her, but Linda grabbed its tail and yanked on it.

Mirai Lioness: Get away from her!

Lionel motioned for Alexis to follow him as soon as the kids got the cage door open. Alexis was too scared to move. The second lion was ready to pounce on the 8-year-old girl. But Lionel found some raw meat and threw it in. The lion was eating it. Alexis ran out and followed Lionel.

Magical Mirai 2019: Wait! What about Linda?

Mirai Lion: She'll catch up. Come on.

Meanwhile, Linda was still pulling on the first lion's tail. The lion scratched her in the face! She screamed in pain. She let go of the lion's tail and now both lions were fighting over the piece of meat that Lionel threw earlier. She closed and locked the cage door.

Mirai Lioness: Phew.

She ran to find her brother and Alexis.

Mirai Lion: Linda! Your face!

They were now outside of the circus.

Mirai Lioness: One of those beasts scratched me.

Magical Mirai 2019: My parents have a first aid kit back home. Come on. It's not far from here.

Alexis led the way. Lionel and Linda followed.

Mirai Lion: Are you okay, Alexis?

Magical Mirai 2019: That was really scary! Thanks for saving me.

Mirai Lioness: You're welcome.

Once the 3 kids got to Alexis's house, Alexis looked all over for the first aid kit. She finally found it and went back to the kitchen, where Lionel and Linda were looking at her house.

Magical Mirai 2019: What do you think, guys? It's nothing like the circus.

Mirai Lioness: You have a nice place, Alexis.

Magical Mirai 2019: Here, Linda. Let me treat your face.

Linda sat down at a chair.

Magical Mirai 2019: This might hurt. Just try not to wake my parents up.

She put some water on a cloth and ran it all over Linda's right side of her face. She flinched from the pain, but she didn't scream.

Magical Mirai 2019: Good. That stopped the bleeding.

She reached for some bandages and wrapped them on Linda's face. 

Magical Mirai 2019: There.

Mirai Lioness: Thanks a lot, Alexis.

Suddenly, the lights turned on. Alexis saw her parents up and angry.

Magical Mirai 2019: Hi, Mommy. Hi, Daddy.

Mrs. Nile: Young lady, do you have any idea what time it is?!

Magical Mirai 2019: Those poor kids are being abused by that evil ringmaster.

Mr. Nile: We don't want to hear it. Up to your room. We'll call the ringmaster, telling him you found his kids.

Magical Mirai 2019: No, Daddy! He's a bad man.

Mrs. Nile: Up to your room, Alexis.

Alexis didn't say another word and went upstairs. A few minutes later, the ringmaster came and took Linda and Lionel back to the circus, despite their many attempts to escape.
