The pain

I wake up to my phone ringing "Hello?" I say, closing the door to the bathroom so I didn't wake up Dylan, my sister, I hated her, called me at 3:00 in the morning "hi, Allie, you aren't going to like this, but Dad got hurt" I frown "what happened?" I could hear her sigh "he slipped and fell, listen, I got to go, we'll keep you updated" before she could hang up, I said "thanks, Steph, it means a lot" and the. She hung up" sighing, the light of the night light didn't really do much, but I put my hands on my face, and slid to the floor, that's when I started crying, my dad was old, 78 years old, if he "slipped" oh, I knew my sister was lying, he probably banged his head, tears slipped down me cheeks, but brushing them away, I get up, grit my teeth, and shake my hands, I'm going to pull through this, I know I can, grabbing my phone, I see a text from Wes ball, saying "Rosa, the actress that plays Brenda, has come up with some family issues, and she can't play Brenda, but, me and my James think that you could try out, you look exactly like her, and act like her, maybe when you meet up with the cast at your first activity, we'll be there and you could try out? Let me know soon" well, something good and something bad, this might turn out ok.

I'm already dressed in shorts and an Black keys band shirt, I made myself coffee when I hear someone groan behind me, turning, I see Dylan roll and fall off the bed, I burst out laughing, he jumps up, startled, he is shirtless, his toned abs made me stop laughing and stare, he turns and smirks "Like what you see?" He weighed his eyebrows "you wish" I say back, but it's true, I do like what I see, the coffee finished and I grabbed it, just as it got pulled from my fingers "hey!" Dylan took my coffee and now was drinking it, crossing my arms and trying to keep my voice serious, I say in a strict voice "go in the corner and have a time out!" Because his mouth had coffee in it, he snorted through his nose, and sadly, sat down in the corner "now stay there!" I couldn't help it, staring at him, he stared back, I smirk and make myself coffee "so, today... I will be trying out for Brenda" confusion fills his face "because Rosa had Family issues to deal with, and won't be able to film, so, Wes wanted me to try out, and I am!" He smiled "that's cool!" I nod

We meet up with Florence and the rest of the cast, when j see Florence I run and squeal "Floooorrrreeenncccceee!!!!" I hug her "Alllllliiiiiieeeee!" We laughed and pulled away from eachother, I hugged the rest of the cast "so, what are we doing today?" I ask, Dylan smiles "I hope you aren't afraid of heights!" I shake my head, I Loved heights "good, because today, we're going Ziplining!"

I started to get nervous, twiddling my thumbs and Flo bouncing her leg, Thomas went first, he didn't scream or anything, but then when will went, he screamed the whole way, making us all laugh, Kaya went, then Florence, it was me and Dylan last "I'm scared" he laughed "I'll be right behind you" taking a deep breath, I walk up to the person that puts you in the harness and they strap me in "ok, three, two, one, go!" I feel a push and a rush of air, I scream loudly, but it turn to laughter, I put my hands out like a bird, my hair trailing behind me, I felt free

I looked down to see trees zooming by, I squeal, I was going fast, there were turn to slow me down, as I entered dense woodland, and it stopped , the guy got me out and I breathed out "that was fun!" Florence took my arm and pulled me "so, what happened last night? Did you and Dylan kiss?" I roll my eyes "of course not! Why would we?" She snickers "because you have a major crush on him" I roll my eyes, I might have a crush on him, but he wouldn't like me, speaking of him, he came zooming to a stop, and getting off, he looked over my shoulder "hey, Allie, are you afraid of spiders?" I nod "I hate them! There disgusting!" He smirks, I shouldn't have said that, he picks up a stick and points it to a big, hairy spider, I gag, and Dylan lets it climb his stick "hey, Al, it wants to say hi" he waves the stick at me.

I scream "no Dyl, stop it" I run, he follows "Al, stop being so mean!" I run faster "no please, Thomas help!" I scream, hiding behind him, he laughs and steps aside Dylan smirks "hey say hi!" I scream "no! Dylan stop!" I see Wes and scream "Wes help me!" He turn to see Dylan with the spider and me running.

He laughs and in a fathery voice, he commands "Dylan, I command you to put that spider down and say sorry!" He puts the spider down on a tree far away from where I was standing and walked up to me, trying to keep a straight face, he says "I'm sorry, will you forgive me?"

I smirk "fine" he smiled "the Spider just wanted to say hi" he said innocently

"Shut up about that stupid spider!" I say, Florence crept up behind me "I'm starving! She complained, everyone nodded in agreement "hey, Allie, come here for a sec" Wes asked

I walked up to him "I'm just going to get you to say a few lines, have you ever acted?" I nod "I was Cinderella in my school play, and Red riding hood in my other school play" he nodded "ok, I'll be Dylan, and you going to read me your lines"

"Brenda, were trapped" Wes said Dylan's line "here, under this table, the Cranks won't get us here" I tried to but as much emotion into it, he nodded "well, you can call yourself Brenda!" I smile widely "thank you Wes!" He nodded and I ran back to the cast and said "can we get something to eat? In starving!"
