Izuku took off running along with the rest of his classmates until everyone was stuck trying to get out the door. Quickly thinking he pulled a piece of the wall out and got on it and flew over the students rushing out. Once Todoroki got out he froze the whole ground leaving many people slipping and falling. After a bit of flying Izuku jumped off of the piece of wall so that way people won't just accuse him of being lazy and quirk reliant. As he ran Todoroki and Bakugo quickly catch up.
"Hey Kacchan" says Izuku to Bakugo who is running along side.
"Hey Midoriya be prepared to loose." says Bakugo in his usual cocky tone.
"Whatever" says Izuku rolling his eyes.
The three then come across the first obstacle. The robots from the entrance exam. Todoroki quickly freezes them which causes them to fall onto the ground. Izuku then lifts one up that was in his way and snapped his fingers causing the ice to melt and the robot to ignite causing an explosions blasting him forward. He then saw a plate from the exploding robot and used his quirk to pull it to him so that he can hop on.
He flies over Todoroki and Bakugo who is using his explosions to fly. Bakugo then sees this and sends an explosion at the armor plate that Izuku is using which causes it to break and Izuku falls to the ground quickly recovering.
"Nice one Kacchan!" says Izuku. getting back up and bolting.
The three then come across the giant pit. Todoroki skates along the wires connecting the giant spires while Bakugo flies over the gaps. Izuku then lifts a large piece of dirt from the ground and uses his quirk to condense it so that it is stable. He then gets on and flies over the gaps as well.
"WOW THOSE THREE ARE REALLY GOING AT IT!" yells Present Mic with Aizawa with a cast on his arm right next to him. "Do you really need to be that loud?" asks Aizawa as he gets ignored.
Back with the top three Izuku is flying back over Todoroki and Bakugo high enough to where Bakugo can't reach without loosing time. They then arrive at the third and final obstacle which is a mine field. Todoroki freezes the ground for himself while Bakugo and Izuku are flying over it. When the other students arrive the three can hear explosions going off left and right. 'morons' Izuku and Bakugo think.
It was now neck and neck because Izuku needed to slow down in order to safely enter the tunnel while Bakugo and Todoroki are both hauling ass to win. Izuku then activates OFA and he grabs onto the dirt in order to stay on and he rockets forward. Bakugo himself then activates OFA and that causes him to let out a single continuous explosion to rocket himself forward as well.
As they both are rocketing forward it shakes the whole stadium as the two friends are going all out to win. When the doors open it reveals for the first time in U.A history a tie in the obstacle course race with Izuku's dirt crumbling to dust as he collapses and Bakugo falling on his face as this was the first time he has tried making a continuous explosion with OFA.
"AND THERE WE HAVE IT! FOR THE FIRST TIME IN U.A HISTORY WE HAVE A TIE!!" yells present Mic with Aizawa having a look of satisfaction.
As the rest of the students arrived they all went over to see Izuku and Bakugo face planted on the floor.
"Hey guys get up." says Kirishima.
"I don't want to move. My head is killing me." says Izuku muffled by the dirt.
"Oh get up lazy bones." says Uraraka touching Izuku and Bakugo and lifting them up.
"Fine. Whatever." says Bakugo.
"ALRIGHT IT IS TIME FOR ROUND 2!" says Midnight on the stage.
(Timeskip past carvery match because who cares about that?)

As Midoriya was preparing to fight Shinsou he heard a knock on the door to his prep room and he opened it to reveal Ojiro.
"Oh hey Ojiro what's up?" asks Izuku. "I came here to tell you about that Shinsou guy you are fighting. I think the way his quirk works is if you answer one of his question or anything he says he can mind control you." says Ojiro. "Okay thanks for the heads up." "No problem. Good luck." says Ojiro as he left the room. Then The P.A system comes on.
"Can we have Izuku Midoriya and Shinsou Hitoshi report to the arena please."
"Alright it's my time to shine." says Izuku as he gets up to fight.
