Note: If you came from my last writing just a heads up the book starts at a different place then where the sneak peak took place

        Everything is so dark . I'm falling. wait no i'm being put down. A necklace hangs in front of me. Its mine. no slightly different. There is a diamond in her silver necklace not a pearl. I try to grab it but my arms are to short. I know where i am now this is when I was little and left at the orphanage. This is lady who left me. She opens her mouth. I don't want t hear it. Little did I know my efforts will be done in vain. Little did I know I was going to have to listen to that women talk all day little did I know that she was going to walk right into my room

        I force my eyes open I don't usually have bad dreams but when I do this is the one I have. I always open my eyes I don't want to here the words of the lady who left me on a doorstep. I brush the dream aside and smirk anytime I have a bad dream I have a good day call it superstition I call it a repeated occurrence. I stretch and turn my neck to hear the deep cracking noise It feels so much better than the airy pop my back made. I knock on the wood above me to see if my bunk mate is awake. I trace my fingers downwards on the splinted wood waiting for a response. this time I jab at the space in between the planks that hold her bed up.

"Okay Okay I'm up jeez"

"How come the smallest is always sleeping in huh? Akane You should have the most energy" I giggle out loud I hear Mai the girl on top of the other bunk bed snicker.

"Come on I'm literally a year younger than you Mai!" This was true Mai and Akane were 12 and 13 with me being the eldest of 4 girls but only being 14 we all pretty much acted the same age. Akane and Mai slept on the top bunk because there built the smallest out of all of us. I get out of bed and see Seo doing her hair.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Guys stop picking on Akane. Is this how you are going to treat the new girl you'll scare her off!" I say as I pull the hair tie around for the 3rd time. I make sure my ponytail will stay put during class today summer is so extremely hot.
"ughhhh practice is going suck sense the new girl is going have to wiped into shape" I hear Kira mumble and Akane agree before she throws the covers over her head.
"Come on sleepyheads up up up. Get your uniforms on I'm hungry let's head to the breakfast hall"
"Still sleeping I see! maybe me reminding you about the math test you didn't study for will wake up!" I give a small giggle knowing there isn't a math test but with Mai struggling with math I'm hoping she'll jump up and get ready. A little cruel but it works. I watch as she jumps up and cries "what math test"
Kira is the actual head of the group but I'm the one who makes sure we don't get in trouble I don't mind. I know how hard she works she just doesn't want everyone to worry about her so she acts carefree to fool herself. She won't admit it.
"Kira pull your skirt down your tall you get dress coded easier! Akane for the last time you have to keep your tie tight you can't leave your top-bottom undone either. I start barking orders. I feel a sense of home little did I know I was going to meet the family of the people who destroyed my first home
        We are all heading down the halls between all the jokes and hushed giggles I forget how early it is. We don't have alarms in our room because the group head Kira and our groups perfect Seo are natural extreme early birds they wake me and Mai up. The hallway echos with the sounds of bells. Its the intro to the song of the empire. The bell rings at 3 different times. once at 5:30 for the eldest group the 16 and older (unfortunately everyone on our team has to get up at the same time as them) Then once again at 6:00 for the middle group 11-15 and finally once more time for the youngest 5-10 at 6:45 the eldest have to wake up earlier to help the youngest by 6:45.
        I know a lot of people hate mornings but trust me i hate them more. When I lived with my parents I would have to wake up at 3:00 so they could drop me off and they could work while I studied. They were very successful and I hated them for it. especially my mom she got dad into the technology business. In one year if I wanted to I could go back and work for there business but no way am I doing that even if it means sleeping in. Why should I have to work my butt off for something I don't want to do. I want nothing to do with that place.  My mother might have gotten my dad into this mess but there was a whole other reason why he can't leave I just don't know it. Little did I know I was going to meet the reason why my father cant leave
        We are almost to the dining hall when I hear one less person walking. I have become super sensitive to this kind of thing after being here for a while. I turn to see Akane playing with her tie she looks deep in thought about something. I'm 2 steps away when she notices me. phtt she must be really tired. I grab her hand and move it out of the way so I can fix her tie.
        "jeez, when are you going to learn to do this right. You had to wear this uniform for a year now." I say exhaustively. I have always been kind of jealous of Akane she could do the coolest demonstration kicks and did absolutely amazing in single pair and team Poomsae (Taekwondo forms) she had the prettiest figure but she could be absolutely perfect in sparring and school if she tried she just didn't want to put the effort in. I was left here because my parents wanted to become something greater (at least that's what the note says when they left me at the orphanage says) she left because her parents make to much money. she is my best friend but I still get mad when I think about that. I finish making the knot on her tie and pull it a little to tight just for good measure. I laugh as she hits my shoulder a little too hard before she starts laughing too. Little did I know I was going to meet the reason my parents had to become something great
and little did I know she was going to change everything.
