One Sided Love || Yamaguchi Angst

Chapter 9

~Third Person~
After Yamaguchi got home & into his bed from the doctors trip, he was now deeply upset & worried. Dr Azume Asahi said that he'll have to go to school but when he needs to go to the bathroom to throw up, to find Asahi & he'll go with him. This also meant that Asahi will be told what's happening with Yamaguchi but he's sworn under secrecy.

Yamaguchi was really afraid to go to school but he had to, he couldn't miss out anymore stuff & well, he didn't want to worry Suga & Daichi. So HW decided it was for the best. He looked at the time "12:50... I should order some food..." He thought to himself. He grabbed his phone, ordered pizza to be delivered to him, hung up & laid down.

Minutes later & the pizza arrived. He got up, went to the front door to get the pizza, opened the door. He payed for the pizza, grabbed it off the delivery guy, closed the door & sat on the couch. He only ate half the box but it was enough. Getting bored he decided to turn on the TV just to get bombarded with the news still talking about his mother still being missing as well as other women & young girls. He started crying but he didn't want to cry.

He then started to cough

~Asahi's POV~
Mom called me at lunch, she sounded worried. I tried to calm her down which I succeeded with to a small extent. She kept rambling & then she paused, took a deep breath & said. "Your teamate, Yamaguchi came by my office earlier today," I straightened up my back after hearing Yamaguchi & office. "He has all of the symptoms for Hanahaki..." There was a moment of silence before she continued "he's coming back to school tomorrow, he'll probably come up to you to excort him to the bathrooms for him to either cough or throw up. I beg of you Azumane, please don't tell anybody else. He's already scared & sad as it is, please don't make it worsen..." I could hear the sadness in her voice. I sighed before speaking "I promise mom."
"Thank you..." She hung up after saying that.

"What was that about Asahi?" I turn around to see Nishinoya in front of me, he must've been eavesdropping as usual. "U-uh its nothing to w-worry about, just my mom being overprotective- say how about you go back to class." I sounded so pathetic. "Sure! See you at practice!" With that he left. I let out a sigh of relief.

Keeping this secret has already proven to be a struggle, & I've only known about it for like twenty seconds!
