ZAYN POV

She went away for a fucking week because of what I said to her and it clearly hurt her.

I regret what I said to her because I knew she didn't listen but I still pushed her and when she pushed back it made me see red.

I said things I can't take back but I still love her I will always love her and I refuse to let her go this time like I did five years ago.

Once i heard she was back in town but she had bought another house it hurt me that she didn't come to me but then again why would she after what I said.

As soon as Kayden found were she was I got Zach and Alex and we went to her house.

I went through the back gate when I heard the boys babbling to each other.

I saw her with her hair in a messy ponytail with little hairs framing her face.

She had on a thin strapped yellow sun dress and short yet kinda tall cream colored wedges.

She was beautiful as little rays peaking out from the tree branches shined down upon her.

Her head snapped to us as we walked through the gate.

The boys smiled and clapped when they saw me.

I smiled when i saw them walking to me.

I picked them up and kissed their heads as i brought them back to their mom and set them on their blanket.

After learning some manners and getting a death threat I followed her inside to her kitchen to talk to her.

We sit at her table and i look into her grey eyes and sigh.

"Jackie... I'm sorry for what I said I really am and I really miss you and the boys"

She looked at me for a long time making me raise my eyebrow at her making her laugh.

"Ohhh Zayn...I already forgave you... I just wanted to see you sweat"

I let out a breathy chuckle and said "you are a huge pain in the ass"

She smirks leans over a little and whispers and said "I know... It's kinda my profession to be a pain in the ass"

I laugh and said "Does that mean you will come home with me?"

She shakes her head no.

I give her a questioning look and said "but you said you forgave me"

She nods and says "I do...but.."

"But what?"

"But I wanna move slow at this Zayn...please...you at least owe me that after what you said to me"

I sigh and shake my head.

"Please...Only for 3 weeks and if we are getting on well then I will come back with you to your house"

"Fine...but I'm coming by everyday to see you and the kids and i will spend every weekend here with you guys...deal?"

She thinks about it and then says "deal"

We get up and i pull her to me and kiss her till my phone rings.

I growl and she giggles.

I answer it and Kayden says to get back immediately.

So I kiss her goodbye and go out to the boys.

"Watch your ma for me yea?"

They smile at me and i chuckle and kiss their heads and we head out.

This is gonna be a long painful wait.
