I got up rather early and after scrolling through tiktok for an hour I decided I would get up and make pancakes for Ag. I went into her kitchen and found everything relatively easy. I started to make the batter and realized they don't have chocolate chips , or nutella for that matter. I grabbed Ag's car keys and went to the nearest supermarket. 

I got out of the car and headed inside. I quickly found the chocolate chips and nutella and headed to self check out. 

"Danny?" I turned around to the direction of the voice and saw Ms.Brit , Sarah's mom.

"Natalie hey" I say and went to hug her , honest to god the one good thing about dating Sarah was her mom , she was so kind to me and always treated me like a daughter. She even payed for my therapy when my dad refused to take me. 

"Sweet heart , how are you?" She said with her award wining smile.

"I'm good , and you?" I said , I honestly miss her , and She was the only reason I stayed with Sarah for as long as I did. 

"I'm okay , you know we miss you at the house" She said grabbing my arm slightly

"I miss you guys too" I said , and I truly do , I miss Sarah's brothers , or when her little sister would play with my hair and do my make up in the craziest way possible. 

"How about you come to dinner tonight?" 

"I don't think that would be the best idea considering everything with-" I wanted to say no just because I don't wanna see Sarah

"Sarah wont be there , she is staying at her dad's in New York for a while" She assured me 

"Is it okay if I bring someone?" I asked hoping I can bring Ag , I want Natalie to know her. 

"Of course honey" She said smiling "I'll see you at 6?" 

"We will be there" I said and we parted ways 

I finished up at the supermarket and headed to Dunkin' to get coffee for Ag and I. After I was done I headed back to Ag's house. I walked in since her mom saw me leave earlier and told me that she was heading back to bed but she was going to leave the door open for me. 

I saw Ag walking around the living room calling someone , when she saw me she threw her phone on the couch and came to me and hugged me tightly. 

"Everything okay?" I asked and hugged her back 

"I woke up and you weren't here so I called you but you left your phone here and I got really worried" She said letting me go 

"Oh , I wanted to make pancakes but you guys didn't have chocolate chips , so I got some" I said putting down the grocery bag on the counter of the kitchen as we walked in "I also got coffee" 

I handed her the coffee and continued to make the pancake batter. Ag kept drinking her coffee and sat down on the kitchen island. 

"By the way , someone named Sarah called , She said she is staying at her dad's place and she just wanted you to know" She said and I rolled my eyes

"How? I blocked her number the other day" I said getting angry that Sarah just wont leave me alone 

"Toxic ex?" She asked and I nodded 

"Speaking of the toxic ex , I'm kinda invited to go to dinner at her mom's place tonight and I was wondering if you wanted to come" I said and turned around to face Ag "I know it sounds stupid but her family actually means a lot to me , her mom even payed for me to go to therapy after the break up because my dad wouldn't and I really miss them and-"
