Fake Hope

I've been on run for a year now and today I was once again running away..... Away from one more city and a house which was never a home

I put my sun glasses on which I stole from a store across the street by my previous apartment and step out of the cafe in which I decided to have lunch

As tiring as it was to move locations quickly I did not get bored, it was always a new start according to me hoping to start fresh and settle down

Well it was all just a fake hope!!

I knew i could never find a perfect hiding spot where I could continue my life, enjoy living with a peace of my mind and knowing that no one was going to come for me

You see being a werewolf was not all easy and being the princess was the toughest !!

I've almost changed 49 houses / apartments / hotels and what not every time I sense them getting close it has to be fight or flight mode and knowing my dad, he would have sent the best of the best trackers and warriors to catch me so the only option was to run

And nothing was different this time........I had seen 2 people following me for the past 2 days it had been the same faces so now I'm far away from my previous house and I'm currently heading to Italy, amalfi
I have an old friend their who was willing to help me

Samantha that was her name beautiful red haired woman she stayed with her adopted twin daughters who were both 5 years old she had adopted them after her mate was murdered by 2 vampires

I trusted her because she was the one to help me escape and was the only friend left of mine

I was now getting on the plain to Italy

"would you like some water madam?" asked the flight attendant
"yeah! thank you!" I replied

I buckled up myself and was ready for the flight to take off

After several hours of travelling the plain finally landed

I was walking down the hall with my luggage when the familiar red hair came into my view

She waved at me and I rushed towards her I immediately pulled her into a hug and she hugged me back with the same force
"oh Amelia you don't know how much I've missed you! " Samantha cried into the hug
"me too Samantha! I've missed you! I've missed you! " I cried too

The people passing by were thinking that we were in some long distance relationship which was partially true as we were so close back in the castle but it's been 5 years that we have seen each other.

"now lets go back home Julie and Emilie are waiting for their aunt! " Samantha said

As soon as I reached at her place I was greeted by her 2 lovely daughters they showed me my room and Samantha had already prepared a hot bath for me, It was so thoughtful of her

I was currently sitting in the tub my muscles relaxed, I was enjoying every moment at this point...their was a window to my left which overlooked the houses and the ocean
Some scented candles were lit up
I forgot all my problems for few minutes all the hustle in my life just settled down for a moment I inhaled the scent and exhaled stabilizing my breathing

I was truly thank full of such moments in my life!

It made me feel apart from the hectic world of humans and the magical world, made me think that how the magical world is still hidden from the humans.... All the technology was not sufficient to reach the magical realm which separates the two worlds

Both of them the same... Disgusting politics, racism, social abuse, drugs and what not

I wrapped my body with a towel and looked my 5'5 self in the mirror my black hair were in a messy bun my blue eyes were twinkling like always after all the things I've been through they still had the same twinkle

I put on a sweatshirt and pulled up some black leggings

I decended down the stairs and entered the kitchen were a 5'2 Samantha was feeding Emilie with Julie on her hip she turned towards me and gave me a toothy grin
"I don't mama! " whined Emilie "you have to! " Samantha fake glared at her

After 15 minutes of winning and glares from Samantha we all had our dinner then I helped Samantha do the dishes
"it's been so long Amelia I have to catch up on so many things! " Samantha said pulling me to the balcony
The balcony had a great view

"Samantha I feel like its never going to end! They will never abide by my conditions!" I said lowly
"oh honey.... The time will surely do you justice! " she said putting a hand on my shoulder
"my father does not understands, I don't want to go back and give myself away to be someone's wife to be a queen and stand behind a king! I don't want that life and i ran away for good! " I almost cried
" Amelia I don't know for how long you will be able to hide! the magic world is far more strong than this human world your wolf will die eventually inside of you due to the detachment! " she said

I nodded understanding what she said I will loose my werewolf powers

I was destined to be the future queen of our kingdom but my father was always unsure of my abilities so he decided to give the throne to my younger brother rather than me which was fine to me in the beginning but then he decided that I was to marry the king of the neighbouring kingdom which indeed was my childhood friend who had grown to be a ruthless alpha he even rejected his mate knowing that the person who finds one is lucky! And I hated him for doing so! my father wants me to marry a person who was not able to accept and love his destined mate

"it's been a long day I think you should go to bed! " Samantha said with a smile

Everyone in the magic world knew that the daughter of the King Rosé was on the run so I had to sneak into the human world in hope that I would live my life of freedom but my father had different plans

Again it was a fake hope

I nodded and hugged Samantha goodnight and went upstairs to my room

You see..... Samantha was going against the kingdom only to help me because I helped her when her mate died the elders suggested her to marry my brother but she didn't want to love a man except her mate and so I helped her escape into the human world here she worked in a travel agency and was paid enough to support her daughters she even saved up money to go on vacations .....i wanted a life where I was the only one to control it!
But my father denied it!
