Chapter. 2 Alpha's Day

I was pulled out of my peaceful dream and into the world of reality. I felt my bed shaking from someone jumping on it.

"Zavy! Zavy! Wawe up!" I heard someone yell.

I opened my eyes to see Kaitlyn, my four year old sister jumping on my bed.

"You better run!" I playfully growled, sitting up.

She jumped off the bed and ran out of the room. I quickly got out of bed and ran after her, of course running as slow as possible. I heard her giggle before she ran down the stairs.

"I'm gonna catch you!" I yelled when I was at the top of the stairs.

I saw Kate run into the kitchen where probably my mother and all the women were making breakfast for the pack.

"Mama! Mama! Help! Zavy gonna get me!" I heard her yell at my mom when I walked into the kitchen.

I quietly walked up the my mom and Kate not letting them know I was behind them. I picked up Kate and threw her in the air causing her to laugh. Of course I caught her before she hit the floor and gave her a piggy back ride.

"Go horsy! Move! Pwease?" she whined wrapping her legs around my torso and arms around my neck so she wouldn't fall.

I ran out of the kitchen and into the backyard.

"Wanna run in the forest today?" I asked her.

"Yeah! Wolfy! Wolfy! Wolfy!" She started chanting.

"Okay, but not for long because I have to get ready for school."

She jumped down and turned away from me, I took that as my cue to undress and shift. It took me just a few seconds to shift into my pitch black wolf that blended into the night. I nudged Kate's side with my snout, making her giggle. I bent down so she could get on and we were off.

I ran fast enough so Kate would have felt her hair blow in the wind but slow enough so she wouldn't fall. We did this every morning before school ever since she was old enough to hold on. She would wake me up early, giving me time to run, shower, and eat breakfast. Everyday she would wake me up in a different way, from jumping on my bed to throwing ice cold water on my face. A few days ago she scared me half to death by yelling out that the pack was under attack. That sure got me out of bed and running. After running around for a few minutes I ran back so home so I could get ready for school.

I shifted back getting dressed and gave Kate a piggy back ride back inside the house where everyone was already awake and eating breakfast. I let Kate get down from my back so she could eat breakfast. I walked up the stairs and into my room to get ready for school. I headed straight to the bathroom when I enter my room to take a shower.

I walked out of the bathroom with only a towel around my waist and made my way to my closet. I grabbed blue jeans, my black Vans, and a white muscle shirt and quickly put them on. I grabbed my backpack and phone before I headed downstairs.

I walked into the dining room to eat breakfast before I went to school. I sat in my assigned seat where there was already a plate of food for me. In the dining room was one huge and long table that half of the pack could sit at; usually the whole pack didn't come to dinners because they had their own homes outside the pack-house. Once I was finished with breakfast I picked up my plate and put it in the sink in the kitchen.

I walked out of the house and towards my blue Audi R8. I got in, started it up and drove to school.

I parked my car in my usually parking space, in front of the school, and got out. I walked inside the building not paying attention to the lust stares I was getting from the girls and some boys. I gladly winked at a boy that had a tent in his pants, I think I just made his tent grow even more. I smirked, I knew who my prey at lunch will be. I continued on walking down the hallway and to class.
