Have you ever had a secret that no one ever knew? Well, I had one but it wasn’t just my secret. My two friends and I had are different than your average teenagers. Every person on the planet believes that witches, werewolves, vampires and all other mythical creatures don’t exist. But what they don’t know is that, it is not true, well at least for witches, because my friends and I; are the most powerful ones on earth.
It all started on my fifteenth birthday when my friends and I were in school. We have been best friends since we were babies. We were actually all born on the same day me at 7:00 pm, Kayla at 6:00 pm, and Annabelle at 8:00 pm. It kind of scared us when we first found out, but it was one of the main reasons we became best friends.
Anyway, on our fifteenth birthday, something incredible happened. We decided we wanted to go camping because school started in a week and we wanted to have a good time before hand. Our families packed and we left to a cabin that we owned in the countryside of New York.
Once we reached our destination, we decided to go for a swim in the lake nearby. The lake was beautiful. It was clear and had a tree by the side that we had tied a rope to swing form when we were little. We decided to just jump in. Well, that was a huge mistake. The water was freezing cold, and as fast as we had gotten in, we got out. Since we didn’t have a towel, we decide to try to get used to the water and continued to swim.
All of a sudden, the water started getting really warm. We thought we were just getting used to it, but then it started to boil. We got so freaked out; we got out of the water and ran to the cabin.
We decided not to tell anyone what happened. But after that day, strange things started to happen to us. As long as we were together, random things would occur. The lights going out or something we wanted just floated to us. We acted immediately to hide the evidence that something was happening. Luckily, nobody notice.
After two days, we decided to figure out what was happening we woke up early and left to explore the woods for a spot where we would be alone. We found a nice clearing with flower of different kinds and colors, it was beautiful. We sat down.
“What is happening to use,” Kayla was the one who spoke first.
“No idea”, “I don’t know “were mine and Annabelle’s responses.
“Well I think we may have powers or something because weird things keep happening to us.” I said, “But magic isn’t real.” That was Kayla
“Well the idea of witches had to come from some place and at some place, what if they were real but after the Salem witch trials they hid to protect themselves. “
I remembered watching a TV show when I was a child about a similar situation that we were in now. I decided to voice my opinion and wait to see what they thought.
“Have you guys seen the TV show the charmed Ones well they were people who didn’t know they were witches maybe were like them. Let’s try a spell,” I said.
“Fine we don’t have any other options and I want to find out what is wrong with us,” Annabelle was angry and I could tell we were all feeling the same.
“So what are we going to try,” Annabelle continued.
“Well you’re the one that watches TV where do you think we should start,” Kayla suggested to me.
Well I sat there for a while trying to thing and I decided why not go with what the show had started them serves. In the show though the sister all had different powers so we may not have the same, but we could always try.
“Well how about freezing something but not with ice I mean like freezing time,” I suggest. “How do we do that,” Annabelle finally yelled voicing all the frustrated and fear she had.
“Find an animal or something moving put your hands out and will it to freeze in time.”
We all focus on something and tried on our own but nothing happen but when we decide to how hands and try together the whole place stood still no wind that had been blowing around birds that had been flying around froze in air. We even ran to the cabin and our families were frozen too. We were all terrify and didn’t know what to do. We held hands and tried to lake everything moved after a couple of fails we finally succeeded every one continued as nothing had ever happened. We looked at each other and knew we were special. That was the day we discovered we were witches, and we knew nothing was going to be the same ever again.
