5. Sleeping?

The sun peeked through the curtains, basically forcing me to wake or suffer the sun's wrath. I remembered that I had slept with Colin and looked over to him once I sat up. During the night he had managed to take over most of the bed, which was expected with how large he was compared to me. He was very spread out and was holding my body close to his while sleeping. He looked so cute.

I struggled a bit but managed to pry myself out of Colin's arms. I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen where I saw father, mother, and Victor. Victor still looked displeased with how last night turned out and mother and father just looked at me a smiled.

"How'd you sleep last night?" asked the mother with a smile and a smug look. My face flushed.

"Fine. Nothing happened thought!" I managed to get out embarrassingly. Mother and father looked at each other knowingly.

"We know, we'd probably know if anything did," Father stated with a smirk. Once again my face erupted into a bright red blush.

In a twisted turn of events, this is when Colin decided to rush down the stairs in a panic. He looked around frantically before he caught sight of me. Once he did he ran to me and crushed me in his embrace, he was shaking.

"Hey, what's the matter?" I had asked him, I wanted to know why he was so shakey.

"You weren't there," he stated, his voice was slightly muffled because his head was buried in my hair.

"Good morning..." My father paused looking at me as if asking for his name.

"Colin," I mumbled in the direction of my father.

"Ah yes, good morning Colin. I hope you slept well. Able here just came downstairs, there's nothing to worry about," My father was talking calmly and politely in Colin's direction. In response to thing Colin just looked at him and loosened his grip on my, only to grip tighter again when his eyes set on Victor.

Victor had finally looked up to see what the fuss was about. He did not look the happiest, but he hadn't looked happy at all since Colin came around. However, it hadn't even been a day yet so I guess I get it.

Victor and Colin were engaged in a staring... well more like a glaring contest. They were both fighting for dominance with each other, whether they were doing it on purpose or not didn't matter, all that mattered was that it was affecting me and I hated it. I felt weak at the knees and all I wanted to do was curl up in a ball but Colin's arms around me kept me from doing so.

The match continued for a few more seconds that felt like forever before father broke it up with a shout.
