Chapter 2-
Allison's POV-
I stay quiet as Eleanor cleans me off. This is weird having to have someone else take care of you. Especially a stranger, but Liam promised me she wouldn't bring me harm, and for some reason I know Liam wouldn't lie to me, Liam saved me.
"You have a lot of bruises," Eleanor comments as she washes my arms. I nod slightly. That's what happens when you have to live on the streets, you get weak, pushed around, and you have to sleep on rocks.
"I'm sorry this happened to you Allison," she says looking me right in the eye, I can tell she means it. She isn't looking at me with pity filled eyes, she looks completely and utterly sincere.
"Ali, you can call me Ali," I tell her with a smile. She returns the smile and nods.
"Liam is really worried about you, I've never seen him look so scared in my life," she comments, and I nod not really sure how to respond to that.
"Does he always help people like this?" I ask her curiously. I mean it's weird that he went out of his way to help a no body like me. I am completely grateful for that though, I might of ended up dead if it weren't for him.
Tears start to leak from my eyes at that thought. I couldn't take care of myself, I thought I would of been able to, but I just wasn't
"Sure, he does little things to make people smile all the time, but for as long as I have known him, he has never done anything like this," she explains to me and I nod.
"Ok, I need you to close your eyes tight, I'm going to wash your face and hair," she tells me and I do as she says. When she goes over the spot under my eyes I flinch in pain.
"What happened?" she asks me, and I cringe at the memory of the man grabbing my sweater from me, he had a knife with him, and when I screamed he cut me slightly with the knife. That's when Liam showed up...
"Nothing," I mumble softly. I don't really feel comfortable enough sharing.
"Fair enough, I can't expect you to share everything, that just isn't fair," she comments and I smile lightly at her words. I'm so glad she understands. My stomach growls again and I feel that familiar pinch in my stomach.
"Ow!" I yell out for the second time tonight.
"Allison! You ok?" I hear Liam yell through the door, but before I can answer Eleanor speaks before me.
"She's just hungry. Calm down Liam, it's not like I'd hurt her, geeze," I laugh at her words. I can hear the smile in her voice as she talks back to Liam.
After she rinses my face, I feel her start to wash my long brown hair. It takes her a while to get through the knots and mud that I'm sure are in there, but once she does she rinses my hair, and I feel very clean, and less itchy, which is a huge relief.
"All right, here is a towel," she tells me handing a towel and helping me get wrapped into it, "Liam, she's covered, bring in the clothes please," Eleanor yells through the door. I'm still not strong enough to stand alone so Eleanor keeps her arm around my waist keeping me up straight, which is exhausting.
Liam comes in through the door holding a pair of pajamas. He looks shocked once he sees me. I give him a confused look, but he just gives me a small smile as he hands Eleanor the clothes.
"I'll be right out here," he tells me again and I smile gratefully. I don't know what I would do if I had to face all these people alone. Honestly, every time I see a person I can't help but freak out, worrying they will hurt me in some way.
