Sarah's POV
Today is the day of the wedding. Matts wedding. I wish I could say it was our wedding. I get slip my dress on and nude heels that are not too high. I walk out and Emma stares at me.
"Why are you dressed like that?"
"I have Matts wedding. Remember?" She nods and turns on the tv. I walk out to the car and drive to the venue. It looks like the place Matt told me that we we're going to get married at. I stand outside like an idiot until I see Jack Johnson.
"Johnson!" I say. He smiles and hugs me.
"Hey. How are you?" I sigh.
"I'm fine. You?" He nods.
"Good. Gilisnky's over there. He's trying to find out when cocktail hour is." I laugh a little.
"Thanks." I walk over to Jack and tap his shoulder. He turns around and he's wearing a suit. he's a hottie for sure. He doesn't say anything, but just opens his arms out for a hug. I hug him tightly as he rubs my back. He kisses my head and then let's go.
"How are you?" He asks. He sits down on a bench and pulls me down with him.
"I'm good. You?" He nods. God he's just like Johnson.
"I'm good, too. I've missed you." I smile.
"You don't know how much I've missed you." I tell him. He smiles.
"I've needed a good friend for like 5 years." He looks at me and smiles again.
"Why haven't you called?"
"I thought you were mad at me for not liking you as a boyfriend."
"Sarah, I love you. And you can think of that as a friend or a boyfriend and I won't mind it." I smile.
"Thanks."
"Now why aren't you getting married?" I sigh, tilting my head up so I can see the bright blue sky.
"I don't know. I guess he found someone better?" Jack shakes his head.
"Who could be better than you?" I shrug and we both laugh.
"The wedding will start in 5 minutes!" Someone announces. Jack and I find a seat by the rest of the guys and wait for the wedding to start. 5 minutes has passed, no Matt. 10 minutes passes, no Matt. 30 minutes pass, and still no Matt. Where is he? Everyone is panicking but I just stay quiet, thinking of where he could be. Then I have an idea of where he could be.
"Excuse me." I say, standing up and climbing over jacks legs.
"Where are you going?" I look back at him.
"I'm pretty sure I know where he is." I tell him. I walk inside the building since it's an outside wedding, and search for the bathroom. I find it and go inside. There's stalls in here, so there was no need to knock. I look at each stall, until I see a pair of black dress shoes. I smile and sit with my back against the stall door.
"So you don't show up to marry your wife because?" I ask him.
"What? Sarah?" He opens the door and sits back down. Tears running down his face.
"Babe." I tell him, wiping the tears with my thumb. He hugs me tight and runs his fingers through my hair.
"Why aren't you out there?" He looks at me.
"I can't do it Sarah."
"Matt, all you have to do is say I do an-"
"No Sarah. I still love you."
