There was a family called the Adams who lived in California it was made up of a wonderful couple and 2 kids one 10 years old named Matt and a 6-year old named Lucy.
It was the first day of summer for the kids so the family started to pack for a road trip to Michigan to see family and friends. Matt packed for both him and his sister and the family left the next day.
It was snowing on the way to Michigan and when they were 3 hours away from the state's border they got into a car accident from going out of control on the frozen bridge they were driving on. The family was sent to the hospital the parents not making it both died from lost of blood. The kids survived but are still unconscious.
