Years go by and the life of the children was getting worse Matt was getting beaten for mistakes and things he did wrong, his sister knew nothing about the beatings because he always had a smile for his sister. No matter how bad he hurt inside. Days turned into months then years.
4 years later Matt was being beaten again for burning the food for dinner, Lucy came downstairs to get help with her homework and saw Matt on the floor crying. The two guys saw her and pushed him to the side. She pushed them to the side to get to her brother and she told him that they were leaving. She helped him up and walked him out the door.
"Where do you think you're going" said the guy named Josh.
"Not here" Lucy said
The guy then grabbed her arm she broke free then his friend pushed her into the street and a car came. BOOM!
