"So, that's your power?" Asked Uncle Mimic.
Ever since he had revealed the secret of his power to Shantae, Midoriya felt that Uncle Mimic should know as well.
"How fascinating!" Said Uncle Mimic. "Hm... considering your current power-level, I'd say that you should upgrade your costume a bit."
"Upgrade my costume?" Asked Midoriya curiously. "You can do that?"
Uncle Mimic smiled in response. "My boy, I am an inventor. As long as I have the right parts available, I can make just about anything. So, will you help out this old man?"
Midoriya giggled. "You're not THAT old, Mimic," he said. "I'll be glad to help you out!"
"Excellent," said Uncle Mimic. "Now, first off, how are your ranged attacks?"
"Well, my only ranged attack is my Delaware Smash," explained Midoriya. "I can flick a finger to make an air attack as long as One For All is surging through me. However, it's too big of a blast."
Uncle Mimic placed a hand under his chin, deep in thought. "I see! Have you ever tried it with your other smash attacks?"
"I never thought about doing that, answered Midoriya honestly.
"Well, then," said Uncle Mimic. "Let's see what we can do."
He then pulled out some sheets of blue paper and got to work on making blueprints. Midoriya came beside him and observed the blueprints. He was hoping that whatever Uncle Mimic was making would be a great upgrade for his suit.

"DELAWARE SMASH AIR FORCE!!!"
Midoriya was now wearing a mechanical wristband. He flicked his finger towards a target and a focused air blast destroyed the target. He landed and looked at his new piece of equipment with amazement.
"Whoa! It really works!" He cried.
Mimic chuckled heartily. "Excellent! Now, try a kick!"
Midoriya jumped up into the air and delivered a kick with his new upgraded shoes.
"ST. LOUIS SMASH AIR FORCE!!!"
A focused blast of air from the kick destroyed another target. He landed and smiled brightly.
"Thank you so much, Mr. Mimic," he said gratefully.
Uncle Mimic laughed. "No need to call me that, lad. You can call me 'Uncle Mimic.' You've earned the right to call me that after everything you've done for my niece."
Midoriya smiled. "Okay, Uncle Mimic," he said. "So, what else can we do to upgrade my costume?"
Uncle Mimic placed a hand under his chin in thought. "How about lacing it with silk from a magic silkworm?"
Midoriya thought about it. Magic silkworms? Shantae mentioned them. They're used for making magic carpets. Maybe with that silk, I'll be able to fly.
He then looked at Uncle Mimic with an approving smile. "I like that idea! I'll be able to fly."
"Excellent," said Uncle Mimic. "I'll get right to it. You think of other ideas on how to fly."
Uncle Mimic went back into his workshop. Midoriya then went into a muttering storm.
Let's see here. If the silk acts on its own while I fly, I'll need to use my legs to steer. What if it just makes me float? Can I kick the air to move around quickly? I wonder how fast I'll be able with the amount of power I'm able to use with One For All. I never had the chance to measure my speed when I used 100% of my power the past two times. I should ask Shantae how fast a magic carpet can fly.
