Cole's POV
"Uptown funk it up, uptown funk it up." Our cover was playing for the millionth time as it was being edited.

I thought Emily and how she claimed that she might like David.

"Guys, I have got to go." I told them. I grabbed my hoodie and my keys and drove over to her house.

I remember when I came over here mostly for Dalton. Now he's in Texas with his new band mates, having the time of his life.

I knocked on the door and Sophia opened.

"Is Emily here?" I asked her.

"She's in her room as always." I walked past Sophia and made my way to Emily's room.

I knocked on the door and she opened up. "How may I help you?" She asked me.

"How about a date?"

"Cole.. you really must have forgotten that me and you are moving on from each other." Emily said. I looked at her hard.

Did she forget who saved her from that beastly mother of hers?

"Yea well have fun with David." I said.

"I sure will." She started closing the door but I put my foot in, just in time.

"Actually, let's go out." I grabbed her wrist and pulled her outside of the room. I pushed her against the wall and leaned in so she had nowhere to move.

"Tonight. Just me and you. Moving on is overrated." I whispered the last part. Emily was red and she nodded her head feverishly. Works every time.

EMILYS POV

I quickly got dressed. Cole really got into my head.

I met him downstairs and we went out to the car. "Where are you taking me?" I asked him.

"The same place I took you the day before you left. That was the first time I told you we couldn't be together. I was so sure that was our last date. I hated feeling like I'm only going to have lasts with you." He said.

I looked out the window. "You remembered... I ran out that night... I didn't want to be near you." I admitted.

"I remember because it's the first time I cried over a girl. It'll forever be in my memory." He told me as we stopped in front of the teen hangout place.

"Sometimes forever is a lie..." I whispered under my breath.

"I'd still like to believe it can happen." Cole told me. We walked into the little place and sat at the table in the back.

That night made me realize why I liked Cole and spending time with him. It also made me realize that I should've gone out with him the first time he asked.

He tempted me and it was freaking sexy but he doesn't need to do all of that.

David texted me when Cole dropped me off.

Want to hang out tomorrow?

I didn't even tell him no.

After Cole made me remember why I liked him, tonight, I still turn around and talk to David.

I told Cole forever is a lie. I can't love him forever, now can I?
