Bare skin wasn't Katsuki's thing, he loved the look of ink-covered skin and the dull, almost relaxing feeling of the needles going in his skin. Hero duty was rough, the blonde's skin was littered with scars of past battles and fights, they struck against the tattooed skin, and gold piercings that also dotted along his body. His friends once told him he looked like an "in real life punk edit" that earned them a growl of annoyance."When do you plan to get your next?" Kirishima, a lively redhead that had been friends with Katsuki since high school, and a fellow pro hero, spoke to bring Katsuki's attention back to the circle of friends which had gathered in said blonde's living room. "Oh well soon, I think. I got an idea, just need someone with better art skills to help draw it out." Everyone nodded that the answer, another blonde with an electric black strike in his hair leaned toward the blonde to examine the inked skin.
Katsuki's "tat style" was very, well some would say much, but it fit Katsuki's personality perfectly and played well with his style and hero suit. Loud colors, and lots of skulls. "What's your idea?" Kaminari asked, slinging his thin arm up against the back of the couch he sat on next to the ash blonde. Katuski looked towards his friend with a lazy expression, thinking for a moment then answering. "It's hard to explain, it'll be something different, wanna do something for my parents."
Everyone thought about the blonde's words for a moment before Mina, sitting with her long, pink legs crossed Kirishima's lap, sat up in her position. "Well if you want something different, I can send you to the place I go! It's amazing!" She smiled brightly and raised her slender arms above her head. Mina's still the newbie to tattoos in the group, most of her pieces being small, colorful, minimalist, or in that basic cursive font writing. Katsuki looked at her skeptically and raised his eyebrows with a small nod. "They have a couple of different artists there that do certain things, there was this short cute greenette that did the one on my thigh." Her long, pink fingers went to tug the edge of her denim short leg up, exposing the big and colorful sunflower on her outer leg, some basic saying scrawled out above it. "I think I know who you're talking about!" Sero, who had been especially quiet, spoke out while pulling the shirt sleeve of his right arm up, "He did my dragon tattoo."
Katsuki's ruby eyes thoroughly looked over the inked skin, that was some talent Katsuki could get behind, his 'old hag' of a mother reminded him a lot of a dragon if he thought about it long enough. "Well are one of you shitty extras going to give me a number to the damn place for something?" Everyone had grown used to the blonde's harsh language, he really didn't have a bite behind his words- at least not all the time.
It was a fifteen-minute ride outside of town the next morning to the small, and unexpected shop, Katsuki's bright orange motorcycle's engine echoing as he pulled into the large and almost empty parking lot. Pulling off the matching orange helmet and shaking out ash blonde locks of hair, he parked his bike.
"Hi, do you have an-" The small, brunette girl's pinkish-brown eyes widened as she raised her head to meet the person who walked through the door, jaws falling open she shockingly whispered, "Oh my god- you're Ground Zero!" Katsuki grimaced at the girl's voice, lucky the room was empty as it surely would've drawn an annoying crowd.
"Uh- yeah. I guess." The blonde grumbled and shuffled up to the counter. The said girl was behind, "I wanted to make an appointment."
"Oh- okay." The girl looked down, obviously trying to get her excitement under control. "I assume you're here for a...tattoo, sir?" She asked politely, still not looking up from her computer. The blonde grunted in a yes and listened to the keys tap as the pink-cheeked girl typed. "Okay, well Mr. Ground Zero, sir, it's currently only ten am, we only have one artist in at the moment, would take me okay? Or were you here for someone specific?" Katsuki looked around with a blank expression, if the one he met today did reach his expectations then he'd talk to a different one, or maybe just find a different place. "Sure that's fine."
