"Now cut the fascia and dissect the nerve " The biology teacher said as we all nodded.

I looked down at the poor, lifeless frog which is placed in a glass tray in our biology lab as all the students were following the teacher.

"And its done" she smiled "See, it's very easy. Now who will try this out first?" She looked here and there and her sight fell on a girl with braids.

"Lily?" The teacher called out, while smiling "Come and do this, dear"

She became a little nervous and came forward "W-What I've to do?"

"Remove the skin of its leg and secure it with T-pins " The teacher smiled "You do this, I'm bringing the files"

With that she left, leaving us in the lab.

Lily looked at the frog with its mouth wide open. She gulped and cut its mouth.

"Aw, Lily why don't you kiss this frog? Maybe it will turn into a dead prince" The boys teased her.

Dude, what's there to make fun of her? It happens at the beginning.  I too was afraid to do all this.

Lily's hands were shaking. She somehow removed the skin and was about to secure the T-pins when a guy threw the frog at her.

"AHHHA!" She screamed and ran outside the lab as everyone laughed.

"Lily wait-" I shouted but she didn't listen.  Just then the teacher came inside with the files

"What happened to the poor little girl?"

I glared at the boys and looked at the teacher, indicating that it's their fault.

She sighed and looked at them " You shouldn't make fun of anyone. If this repeats then I'll take strict action against you all"

But the boys acted like they don't care and shrugged it off.

I came out of the lab as Austin was going through some papers outside the Chemistry lab. Emilia was still in Business studies section and I'll met her at the cafeteria.

I went to the class and saw Lily silently sitting beside the window.

"Hey Lily!" I smiled.

"Hello!" She gave a short smile.

"How are you now?"

"Fine" she said "I think Medical is not my thing...I am literally too afraid of all this "

"If you were afraid then you shouldn't have chosen this and now nothing can be done. While doing too much experiment,  you yourself will lose the fear" I smiled as she nodded sadly.

I was about to go to my seat when a pair of arms covered my eyes.

"Emi? I thought you will met me directly at the cafeteria " I chuckled.

"I thought too but I've something to tell you" she smiled, coming in front of me.

"What is it?" I asked as she presented the Birthday invitation card.

"Ta-Da! He invited me!" She said, excitingly

"Yea, me too" I said "And not only me, he invited all the students and the teachers too"

"Dude, you are such a mood spoiler!" She pouted and left the class.

"Hey wait!" I shouted "It was a fact"
