Yours;
What was one of the best days I've had in a long time, became the worst of them all in just a few seconds. I was holding Jimin's hand as we came off the ferris wheel. At this point I can't even recall what we were talking about as we walked around but I know we were both happy.
I heard someone calling my name but I was sure that I was just hearing things. Who could be all the way there?
"I think someone is calling your name." Jimin said making me more alert.
"You hear it too?" I turned my head at the direction of the oddly familiar voice.
"AREUM!!" I heard.
My heart dropped and my eyes widened. I quickly let go of Jimin's hand but I knew she already saw it all. I stared at her like a deer in headlights. It was happening. The one moment that I never wanted to happen was happening. Just a small distance away from Mrs. Jeon, Kook stood there, looking at me. I didn't have time to read his facial expression or even gesture for help. It was all too late.
"M-Mrs. Jeon.." I was speechless.
"What the hell is going on here?" She asked, pulling my arm, dragging me to her side instead of Jimin's.
"Mrs. Jeon, I—" Jimin began to say, trying to seem as calm and collected as he could.
"Do you have no shame? You're seeing one of your students!?"
"I knew there was something off about you! What a creep! Stay away from my kids." She continued harshly.
No! He's not a creep. It's all my fault, please don't yell at him..
I couldn't spit out any words.
"Just wait until I talk to the school about this." She said coldly.
Jimin swallowed. "I understand that you are angry and shocked but please if you'd just let me explai—"
"Explain? Explain what exactly? Your relationship with a student?"
Jimin hung his head low, not knowing what to say. I felt so sad that he was being yelled at like that. He didn't deserve that.
"Mom," Jungkook finally stepped closer and held his mom's arm.
She looked at him.
"That's enough. Let's not create a scene.." He said softly.
Mrs Jeon was huffing with anger. I had never seen her like that. I was afraid. "This isn't over." She said before dragging me by my arm with her. I turned my head with tears in my eyes. Jimin stared back at me with a grim facial expression.
"I can't believe you Areum." Mrs Jeon scoffed as she walked as fast as she could in her gown.
"What are your parents going to say about this? Did you think I wouldn't tell them?"
My heart pounded against my chest. "P-please..."
"Stupid girl."
"Mom.." Jungkook said lowly, walking on the other side of her with a concerned look.
"Do you think he loves you? He doesn't! He's a lonely scum who preys on young girls like you." She said.
"Young, and easy."
Her words hurt me so badly. Every word felt like knives stabbing me. I didn't care if she insulted me a million times over and over but, just one insult towards Jimin hurt like hell.
He's not like that.
"Mom! Stop it please!" Jungkook bursted.
She looked at Jungkook, shocked. "Can— Can we just quietly get home and deal with it tomorrow?" He asked, slouching his back.
