Chapter 1

(*I do not own this cover art*)     (A/N: this is my first story on Wattpad plus I'm also new here, if there's any problems with my grammar let me know, I was watching The darkest hour 2011 movie, and it got me thinking, why not make a crossover of Invader Zim meets The darkest hour, so I thought it would be a great crossover to make. anyways, hope you guys enjoy it!)

Dib and Tak were taking a nice morning stroll around the park while holding hands, intertwining there fingers together. ''hey Tak I was thinking, wanna pull a prank on Zim?'' Dib said, glancing at her pretty disguised face, she turned her head looking back at him. ''yeah sure, that would be fun what should we do?'' she replied snickering of the thought of zim being pranked, ''how about, we use a can of spray paint and spray it on his house that says 'Invader Zim sucks' 'Zim is a pig smelly,'' Dib said and laughed his hair off and so did Tak, ''I the almighty Zim! is a piece of s#%t!'' Dib intimidate Zim's voice that made Tak laugh even harder.

 Oh Dib! you're such a funny human to have as my boyfriend.'' Tak said as she wipe a tear from her eye from laughing so hard and leaned her head to kiss Dib passionately on the lips. the couple exited out of the park and went straight to the general store to buy two cans of spray paint, they went over to Zim's house and spray painted his fences first, and lastly his house door, the two hid in the bushes giggling crazy and waited out for Zim to get back home, 3 hours later.... Zim arrives home with of course Gaz, he saw the spray paint on his fences and his house door, he growled in anger and shouted, ''WHO VANDALIZED ZIM'S PROPERTY! NOBODY MESSES WITH THE MIGHTY ZIMMM!!!'' he heard chuckling coming from the bushes ''Zim damands you to come out now!'' Dib and Tak come out trying to suppress their giggles by covering their mouths.

 ''D-Do you like it space boy?'' Dib said smiling, Zim got right up to his face gritting his zipper like teeth in front of him ''like it? like it!? ZIM THINKS ITS HORRIBLE COMING FROM A HUMAN PIG SMELLY! THAT DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO WRITE! DIB- MONSTER,'' Gaz made a huge sigh and said trying to maintain her composure, ''Dib, clean up my boyfriends property please, I'm really not in the mood right now to beat you up.'' crossing her arms. ''you know we were just pranking you right? it was only just for fun.'' Tak said, reassuring Zim but instead he pouted and let out a sigh in defeat.

 ''Whatever, I don't know what a prank is? but your cleaning up this mess.'' both Dib and Tak nodded and proceeded to help clean up the spray paint that they caused to Zim's property. when they were done, Dib and Tak went back to the Membrane household to get changed for tonight, they were preparing for the prom night at the Hi Skool, Dib was dressed in a suit, he wore a Dark blue button shirt, black pants, black blazer, black dress shoes, and yellow tie, he went to the bathroom to fix his scythe hair combing it straight he puts the hair comb down and picks up the deodorant and sprays it in his arm pits, when he was finished in the bathroom, he walks back into his room to see Tak without her disguised in a purple sparkling dress under the leggings, but she keep the boots and the gloves on,  she walked over to him and smiled.

 ''you certainly look handsome in that outfit,'' she whispered cutely licking his face with her snake like tongue, Dib grab her three fingered hand and gently kissing it. ''your the most gorgeous Irken i've ever met in my life,'' he flirted kissing her on her lips, Tak had a deep blue blush across her face looking rather flattered at his words, she was about to return the kiss, but professor Membrane came upstairs interrupted the couple, ''Hello son and his foreign girlfriend! your gonna be late for the prom night it starts in 10 mins so don't be late,'' and with that, he walked downstairs heading towards his lab in the basement to continued real SCIENCE! not even noticing  the alien right next to Dib.

 Dib had a huge blush on his face when his father came in embarrass in front of him and Tak, ''I'll never understand my father's personality,'' he said with a sad sigh looking down at the ground, he felt a hand on his shoulder he looked up to see his girlfriend giving him a comforting smile, ''don't let him get to you Dib, now come on we have a party to intend to!'' she gave him a wink to cheer him up, he form a small smile on his face and grab her hand walking out of Dib's room and went downstairs heading to the door outside, she turned on her disguised, turning her whole irken body into human, ''I have to be honest, you look so much better with your irken body instead of this human body,'' he said putting his arm around her, she leaned her head on his shoulder nuzzling his neck affectionally.

 ''Thanks Dib that's means a lot,'' she said quietly, couple of mins later.... they made it to the Hi Skool prom night in the gym, everyone was drinking punch and some were eating at the concession stand, Dib went to go talk to Zim and Tak went to Gaz to socialize with her, Zim and Dib were sitting down on one of the bean bag chairs, ''soo, how are you and my sister doing in this relationship that your in?'' Dib asked taking a sip of his punch, Zim shrugged ''I don't know to be honest Dib-human, but all I can say is Zim feels great!'' he said taking a sip of his punch, ''that's good'' Dib said, ''how are you and Tak doing in your relationship.'' Zim asked, ''its going pretty well! Tak thinks her and i are a great couple. Dib chirped.

 Tak and Gaz were sitting down against the wall of the gym, holding their punches, ''how is my brother treating you?'' Gaz asked taking out her game Salve while putting her punch down, ''he's been treating me very nicely, he took me out to go see a movie, and even took me out to go see the stars at night,'' she said, ''glad to hear,'' Gaz repiled, not taking her eyes off the game, Dib and Zim were done talking to each other and headed to their lovers, ''would you like to dance'' both of them said at the same time, the two girls nodded Gaz put her game salve away and approach to Zim grabbing  his hand taking him to the dance floor,  Tak took Dib's arm as she also took him to the dance floor, just as they were about dance all of the lights were turned off and especially the music and everything went dark, ''what The hell just happen?!'' Dib shouted.
