Fighting for our lives

Chapter 4

(A/N: Wow! It's been a long time since I last updated this story! just want to be clear, and I know I do this all the time, I don't own this video.) 

The four recovered from last night's tragic event with Gaz and Dib's father Professor Membrane, sure he wasn't always there for Dib and Gaz but in the name of Science, has gotten in the way for him, Dib was staring at the microwave gun in his hands he was just so lost in thought but he needed to get his mind off of his father, I mean he does have Gaz but she tries to be the better sibling but her video games were also in the way, but either way she did cared about Dib, Zim on the other hand did cared about Dib even thought he used to be enemies with him but decided to be friends with him. and last but not least his love of his life Tak the strong will female Irken, she would do anything to protect or comfort her human, she loves him very dearly. 

''Dib-friend, Zim is sorry for your loss,'' Zim said as he approach's Dib sitting right next to him, putting his hand on his shoulder, he slowly turns head to face Zim with a frown on his face, which made Zim feel bad for him, ''you know, my dad never once believe me about Aliens since we used to be enemies when i was trying to expose you to prove my race that Ailens are real,'' Zim nods in understanding but lets him continue to talk, ''but you know what, it doesn't matter anymore I'm glad that I'm friends with you Zim, Because if did succeed on exposing you to the world who would I chase everyday and foil their plans,'' Dib finish's slowly forming smile giving Zim a hug, he hugs back Dib giving him a smile.

Gaz and Tak roll their eyes at Zim and Dib hugging each other, ''Come on guys, lets think of something, we can't stay down here forever,'' Gaz said, the two broke their hug and turn back to their girlfriends, standing up to their feet, ''Lets all stay as a group, were not splitting up like if its Scooby Doo, we're gonna gather some more supplies and survivors and we will fight the hell back,'' Dib said putting the microwave gun around his back since it has a one strap on the weapon, Zim gives Dib a confuse look, ''Zim has never heard or speak of Scooby Doo?'' everyone was quiet about Zim's question, Dib tells Zim that he will explain it to him another time, right now they need to focus at the task at hand, the four headed out of their safehouse that was  technically the Skool's basement.

when they walked out of the Skool, everything around them looked lifeless, the cars were covered in dust, everything was really quiet, the four stay together on the sidewalk while speed walking, Dib aims the microwave gun in every direction, Zim, Gaz and Tak were looking around to see any signs of the invisible aliens.

''Look, over there!'' the three turn to were Dib was pointing at, it was a cop car with both the driver's seat and front seat doors open, ''that cop car might have a better map,'' Dib turns to Zim and asks him, ''wanna come with me Zim?'' he nods his head saying 'yes Dib-friend' agreeing with Dib's offer, Dib gives Tak the microwave gun, she gives him a kiss telling him be safe, Gaz does the same with Zim.

''Alright, you ready Zim?'' Dib said.

''Zim is ready when you are Dib-human, '' Zim said.

both human male and male Irken run to the cop car, when they got there they look around inside of the car to find anything to pry the trunk, Tak and Gaz runs to the nearest building and staying there watching out for the boys, Dib finds a crowbar and shuts the door, Zim's antennas perk up and he goes to were Dib is at, right by the trunk, Dib was trying so hard prying the trunk to get it open, ''Give it to Zim, you're taking to long Human,'' Zim said taking the crowbar out of Dib's hands, ''we don't even know if these aliens can see or hear,'' Dib said, ''We do know that they can kill,'' Zim said, finally getting the trunk open dropping the crowbar to find weapons, flares, and the one thing that they were looking for the map book, Dib grabs hold of the book, Zim grabs the flares leaving the weapons alone, when they were gather the stuff, Tak and Gaz hears a dog barking in the distances and the barking noise gets closer then they see the door galloping away passing Dib and Zim by the car, both of the girls muttered 'what?

' Dib and Zim were too distracted from the barking they both peak their heads at dog that stop running and now walking sniffing away then for a second it stops lifting its head and starts barking at nothing, the boys were watching the dog with cautious looks on their faces, the dog continues to make loud noise, then for a spilt second the dog gets disintegrated, ''Whoa, whoa,'' Dib gets alarmed and attempts to depart away from the invisible alien, but Zim stops him by grabbing his arm pulling him away from being wide open being seen, ''Get down, get down Dib-stink!'' Tak and Gaz Gasp as they witness the dog turned to ash, Zim and Dib were panting, Dib turns his head to the girls and yells, ''GET INSIDE!'' both Tak and Gaz run inside shutting the doors.

Zim and Dib are now sitting ducks as the electrical humming got closer powering up the car sirens going off telling the boys that the invisible is really close, the alien scans the car to find any organic beings to be turn to ash, Dib fears and gets under the car, ''Dib-worm what are you doing,'' Zim said, ''Something'' he said, Zim shrugs and does the same what Dib is doing, the alien goes on top of the car and scans left and right side, the sirens make a weird sound as the alien continues too look it reaches towards the open the trunk hovering on it shutting the trunk  but the trunk lifts up that its still open, the power of the car shuts off as the leaves as still searches for the organic beings, Dib and Zim glance up to see if its still there, ''is it gone?'' Zim asks, ''I think so,'' Dib answers, both of the boys get out from under the car grabbing their stuff and runs to the building were the girls are, ''Holy sh%t,'' Dib pants, ''That was way too close Dib-human,'' Zim said.

 Tak and Gaz comes out of their hidden spots turning their glances at Dib and Zim,  ''Dib!'' Tak Beams with joy as she runs to her boyfriend, ''Zim!'' Gaz said running to Zim, both of the girls gives their boyfriends a tight hug, ''I missed you soo much Dibby,'' she said stroking his hair, ''Oh you have no idea Tak,'' he said also stroking her curled antennas, ''Gaz-flower, Zim has missed your presents,'' Zim said giving Gaz a kiss, ''I missed you more'' Gaz said returning the kiss, The four settling down for a couple mins, Dib was lying his head on Tak's stomach, he was so lost in her purple sparkling eyes, she was giving him a nice head rub, then she leans in to give him a deep kiss, Gaz was snuggling up Against Zim, as they embraced, the four got to their feet and continue their journey.
