Alexandra Watson
We were both standing like frozen, starring at each other. I decided that it must be a male wolf because of size. His eyes were hazel brown and the fur was wet and had a dark brown colour. The wolf finally moved and began to sniff around my face.
I didn't know how to feel. I wasn't scared but more surprised. It tickled when he sniffed me and I tried not to laugh. I reached out and touched the wet fur on the side of his massive head. The loneliness and feeling of forever being the one standing out started to slowly melt, and I felt something I had never felt before. I felt normal. His presence made me feel whole in a way I could not yet describe.
A sound in the distance, which I thought was another wolf, made him turn his head and look into the dark forest. He took a final glance at me and returned to the forest.

I waited for him to come back every night since I met him the first time. I did not only want to see him again, I had too. It had been five days since I saw him for the first time, and I had sat on my window seat every night since, looking into the forest. I did the same tonight. Warming myself on a cup of tea, waiting and hoping that he would show.
My phone started buzzing in my pocket, I picked it up and looked at the name on the screen. Jeremy had called me a few times today, but I had not answered him. He probably wanted to talk about our date, but I was really not in the mood for it. But it was not Jeremy, it was Astrid.
She was my second cousin, who came to town a few times a year. She was a few years older than me and a real party girl. My mom made me go out with her every time she decided to show up. I pressed answer and heard Astrids over-energetic voice:
"Alexa! Guess who is coming by tomorrow?"
"Hmm.. I guess you are?"
"Yeaaaa! It is so exiting, wanna go to the club and danse with me tomorrow?" With the club she ment the only club in the whole city surrounded by smaller bars, where the older men often hang out.
"Sure, why not" I could use some distraction from looking out my window, even though the club was really not my scene. If I found a place, where I felt like I fitted in, I would probably love it.
"Great! See you tomorrow cuz" And then she hang up.
It was getting late and the wolf had not showed up yet, so I decided I would just go to bed. I took one last glance out of the window and went to sleep.

I had probably gone through my whole wardrobe twice before I decided what to wear: A red satin mini dress with spaghetti straps that highlighted my curves perfectly. I decided to curl my long brown hair and put on a light makeup. I actually looked... kinda good. Which I normally never thought.
I put on my black leather jacket and a pair of black high heels with bands, that laced up my shins. I went out the door while I yelled "bye mom!". Outside was a black sedan, as I got closer the drivers window rolled down and a blackhaired guy came into view.
"Get in!" Yelled a rather exited Astrid from the seat next to drivers and gestured to me, that I should get into the car.
"Ehh.." I stood there not sure what to do about myself, when I decided to pull myself together and not be so awkward about it. I opened the door to the backseat and saw a tan guy with hair, that was bleached in the ends and dark at the roots. I smiled at him and sad down beside him.
