The vampire society were facing a big loss,
With advanced technology they were getting very cross,
With infrared beams and silver bullets,
Attacking was dangerous, they just couldn't do it,
Sucking on animals was not the right thing,
Something was not right, something was missing,
Human blood was so much sweeter,
The humans, now creatures, were excellent as feeders,
They tried kidnapping a few tramps here and there,
But the stench sometimes couldn't get them near,
Bagging the odd prostitute was a bit too dicey,
Many people watched the night girls too closely,
A good way was to feed off the sick,
Posing as doctors and nurses was very slick,
You could always blame an age old disease from the past,
If too many people died alone and in the dark,
But the very best way today is an up-to-date vehicle,
Criusing around going right up to the people,
Vampires with up-to-date equipment and modern technology,
Taking your blood in a place where everyone can see,
"Give blood" they say, "it might save a life of someone in this town,"
"Give blood," l whisper, "the life you save will be your very own."
