Love And Its Pain

Marinette's POV

" I knew that it would end up like this. I knew that I wasn't enough for him"

   Marinette said in her head while the  tears came pouring on her cheeks as she remembered how Adrien rejected her that morning and she did nothing but ran away home. She sat on the wodden floor of her balcony and sobbed.

*Flashback*

Marinette: Adrien, I was planning on telling you this since a long time and... I want you to know that... I... That I love you, Adrien Agreste. I fell in love with you since the beginning under the rains that day and I...

Adrien: Marinette, I... I don't know what to say. You're really a nice girl, believe that but...

    He looked down ashamed of what he's going to say.

Adrien: I am so sorry, Marinette. I really don't mean to hurt you but... I love someone else.

*end of flashback*

    "I knew it. I knew that he loved another girl since the day in the car but I still did it. I still had high hopes but then... Look at me now. A weak girl with a broken heart. How can my heart handle this? How am I getting over this heartbreak? It's not easy but I can do nothing now. I still need time to heel."

Adrien's POV

"rejection. That's what you get when you expect a lot. Today I had to reject Marinette. She's awesome, Really talented and pretty... I had to reject her for ladybug... Yeah ,ladybug. The one who keeps rejecting me. Ladybug will never love me back, right? I just rejected Marinette for someone out of my reach. I can't deny that I always felt something towards Marinette but... I still can't make up my mind. Ladybug will never love as much as she liked that boy so what am I even doing right now. Just thinking about her.

*Flashback*

    It was the last Akuma they fought together. On a rooftop in Paris after defeating that Akuma, Chat Noir had to open that topic again and try again and again. He picked a rose from a nearby tree on their way and gave it to her.

Chat Noir: for you my lady.

   He could see nothing but rejection in her eyes.

Ladybug: Chat, I already told you to stop. Stop confessing to me. Stop giving me roses. Stop loving me.

    She turned to look at him with real tears in her eyes and sorrow engraved in her weak voice.

Ladybug: I told you that I love someone else and it hurts so bad when I have to reject you. You're so dear to me, chat. I can't keep doing this to you. It hurts me everytime you give me that look of love. I know that you love me but we are just... Not right for each other. I hate seeing you stuck with me like that. You have to move on me and find your own right one. I don't want to lose you Chat but I can't keep hurting you either. You have to give up on me.

*end of Flashback*

     He shook his head as he remembered trying to forget those poisoned words she told him but he just... Couldn't. He's used to thinking about her all the time and now, he should stop thinking about her at all and move on. He looked around to find himself imprisoned between the walls of his room. He couldn't stand that.

Adrien: I need some fresh air. Plagg... Claws out.

   He said as green bubbles covered his body and his cat suit appeared hiding the messed up Adrien underneath. He jumped out of the window and kept jumping from rooftop to another reaching for the Eiffel Tower to get some fresh air.
