CHAPTER 27

*SOPHIE POV*

 Jack and I walked into the hall in the hotel where magcon will be held. Brat and all the other boys were on the stage. Matt was screaming into the microphone making some dinosaur looking face, Taylor and Aaron were making vines of him. Lox was setting up her DJ stuff (A/N i don’t know what its called) with Monica and the other boys were either talking to Bart or on their phones doing vines. “What the heck is going on in here?” Gilinsky asked aloud and I shrugged walking to Lox and Monica. “Hey!” I said to the two of them “Hi” Monica said and then walked over to Matt, “Whats her problem?” I asked Lox “I’m not sure” she said quietly “I have to go back up to the room, i forgot some cords” Mahogany said and walked off. What the hell everyone is avoiding me, and what did Gilinsky mean by it will make sense soon? I’m so confused!!

“Okay guys go backstage so we can let some girls in” Bart said and we all walked behind the stage to a small room with heaps of food and drink, we were waiting and mucking around in there for a while until we hear allot of screaming and Bart walked in from behind a curtain, “Okay so whats gonna happen- wait wheres Lox?” Bart asked, “Oh she went to the-” I was interrupted “Here” she said. Wait Mahogany didn't go our room? She just said that to get away from me I bet it seems that everyone wants to get away from me! “Oh okay, well you guys, and Lox, know how this works so go out there do your best and have fun!” he said and all the boys nodded “okay hands in” Cam yelled and all the boys put their hands in. “One!, Two, Three, MAGCON!” they all yelled and Lox walked out earning hundreds of girls to scream at the top of their lungs “HEEEELLLOOOO EVERYONE” Lox screamed thought the microphone “How are you all?” She asked. I looked at Shawn who looked nervous to perform. I walked over to him and sat beside him on the ground “Shawn…” He never made eye contact with me “Y-yes S-Sophie?” He said really quietly “Whats wrong?” I asked he kept his head down looking at his hands. “Shawn did I do some thing wrong?” I asked he was about to speak when I heard “SHAWN MENDES!” he got up and ran out running his hands along the crowd. I just stayed there until all the boys had gone out. I was playing on my phone until a security guard who was tall and looked kind of intimidating walked up to me “Bart wants you one the stage” he said in a really deep voice. “Do I have to, I’m kinda scared of the fans” I said standing up “yes, don’t worry, whats the worst that can happen?” He asked. I guess he was right “well the-” I was interrupted by him picking me up bridal style and carrying me out the door towards Bart. He put me back on my feet and Bart was laughing softly “Well, when I said to Tim if you refused to come out, carry you, I didn’t think he would actually do it” Bart said and i laughed too. “Well, I guess he took it seriously then” I said and Bart nodded “So Sophie, I heard you can sing” He said and my smile dropped “what? no, pffft, i cant sing” I said, and Bart pulled out his phone. I was a recording of me singing in the shower the other day “How did you get that?” I asked “Mahogany recored it and sent it to me” he said with a smile. “you know you have an amazing voice Sophie, a voice like that could get you far in life” He said looking at the boys mucking around on stage “Yeah, I don't think that I’m that good” I said “Well, I would really like it if you were to sing at the next Magcon In Seattle next week, if you come” He said “Yeah, If Shawn still wants me too…” I said quietly, he bent down that so he was at my eye with me “Look Sophie, Shawn is crazy for you! I know because all the boys are like my sons and I can tell. The way he looks at you is different to how he looks at anyone else!” He said and smiled I smiled back. Maybe I was over-reacting abou the whole thing…

*SHAWN”S POV* 

I feel so bad for Sophie. She must think that l hate her but in reality, I love her! Love? Yes I LOVE HER! I cant wait for her surprise party tonight! I hope the plan works perfectly and Mahogany and Monica play their part perfectly. If so, then it will work like a charm, Sophie is going to have the best birthday, but for now I have to perform.
