Chapter 3- Harper

Harper swiftly walked out the door and when she was out of sight, she ran down the stairwell to the ground floor, then she sprinted out to the parking lot and hopped into the Tesla, turned it on and started to drive.

When Harper arrived at her house, she changed into a cute white sundress and some black flats. She put on a hint of makeup, then grabbed her purse and headed out the door into the sunny New York City weather.

When she got into the car she drove to the restaurant, which Victoria said was called The Mountain View Restaurant and hopped out.

Once she got into the restaurant, Harper took out the menu and scoured for an entree that sounded delicious. One item that caught her eye was the grilled chicken with a side of caesar salad. She decided that she would have that. Victoria, sitting across the table, decided to share the "Two for the Price of One" burger option with Lauren. They were in the middle of whispering about plans for their next mission when the boys sauntered in.

Isaac with his tousled blond hair and bright green eyes, Logan with his strong build and had dark brown hair, and Jake with his dirty blond hair with emerald green eyes and a perfect tan put on quite a show walking into the restaurant.

Isaac and Logan had been dating the twins for one and a half years, Isaac with Victoria, and Lauren dating Logan.

Harper, however, had not been on a date with Jake yet. He was a friend of Logan's, and Victoria and Lauren had convinced him to give Jake a try.

"Hey, Vic." said Isaac, sitting down next to her, then giving her a kiss on her cheek.

Victoria smiled, and said, "Oh, hey, Isaac."

Logan sat down next to Lauren. Lauren smiled at him. Jake looked unsure of where to sit, so he finally took a seat between Logan and Harper.

He smiled shyly and said, "Hey, I'm Jake. It's so nice to finally meet you. Your name is Harper, right?"

"Yeah, and it's nice to meet you, too." Harper said, blushing. "So, what do you like to do?" she asked, searching for something to say.

"I play guitar, and I also like to play basketball," he asserted. and then gestured to Harper. "What do you like to do?" he asked.

Definitely missions, she thought, but knew that she couldn't tell him this. The first thing that came to her mind was tumbling. "I like tumbling," she said. "I also like to read, too."

"I like to read, too! What books do you like?" he asked earnestly.

Harper was not prepared for this, so she named the first book that she thought of. "Harry Potter! I love to read Harry Potter." she said quickly.

"Hey, me too!" he exclaimed. "Did you like the books or the movies better?"

"The books, obviously." she said.

They got into a conversation about Harry Potter, and after talking about that they s By the time the waiter came over to take their orders, Jake and Harper felt like they had known each other for much longer than 15 minutes.

Harper ordered the chicken wings with ketchup and a small side salad, and Jake ordered the same thing, with a side of fries. Harper and Jake went back to their conversation about their favorite movie snacks when Harper heard something explode outside. BOOM!
