Kristina Delarosa
Ezio Bayek.
For as long as I could remember I've always admired that handsome Adonis carved my God himself.
Sigh. Just the thought of him had me drooling but let's focus on the main story here. Everything I own has to be Ezio related. Mugs, body pillows, quotes, wallpapers etc. . I even joined a fan club for how obsessed I am but not to the part where I'd sniff his underwear because that's just dead gross.
But now...now...my everlasting wish has been granted and that was to work hand-in-hand with the L.O.M.L just not as hand in hand as I thought. And if you're wondering what L.O.M.L means then it stands for LOVE OF MY LIFE.
Anyways, before I was rudely interrupted. Instead, I work under the manager in the personnel department, Ezekiel Leonard.
Ugh. Why?! Anyways..
🤍
"Back to work Delarosa." My manager clapped his hands as he gave me a few more files to go through. From my perspective, all of this was really exhausting and I'm starting to have second thoughts. Maybe this job may not be so worth it after all.
Be strong Kris...we'll get where we want to soon.
"Aye aye captain." I saluted my manager before checking the time on my wristwatch. It was approximately 10:45 a.m. which meant I had an hour and 15 minutes before lunch. I groaned in both frustration and defeat as I leaned into my desk chair with one of the many files placed over my face.
As my parents always say. Don't look for the job to be easier, look to be better. I sighed in frustration as I started going through the files. Being promoted to assistant manager, in such a short time, is really stressing. The only co-worker I can correspond with is my manager and trust me when I say he's not that type of person.
As he always says, "There's a time and place for everything under the sun." By the end of my lifetime my brain shall be stacked with quotes.
🤍
"Done." I threw my hands in the air victoriously. It's as if I've won a wrestling match and the referee throws my hand in the air as a sign of victory. It feels really good when you go over everything twice. The satisfaction of perfection as I like to call it and I also have 20 minutes to spare before lunch begins.
Maybe I could scroll through a few pictures.
"Delarosa."
"Leonard." I returned my phone to my handbag.
"Files."
"Already done with." I picked up the stack of papers and took them to his desk that was located at the upper left corner of the gigantic office. As his assistant manager, his words and not mine, I am obligated to share an office with him. I think he's just lonely and needs company.
I really pity him sometimes.
"How many minutes do you have to spare?" He questioned knowingly.
