Proverbs 1:8-9
My child,listen when your father corrects you.
Don't neglect your mother's instruction.
What you learn from them will crown you with grace
and be a chain of honor around your neck.
We should obey our parents because all of their teachings is for our own good in the near future will realise it when we're growing up and what they teach we should put it in heart and mind everytime and it is the only commandmet that have a promise that whats exudus 20:12 says;"Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
