Mitch panicked and ran towards Jerome. He grabbed his arm and pulled him to the direction of their house.
"We gotta go biggums, Its not safe here!" He yelled.
"But Ty is our friend! He wouldn't hurt us!" The bacca shouted.
"I dont care if you even seen that or not, but he looked nowhere near friendly." The words poured out of Mitch's mouth, with a slight hint of fear.
Jerome continued running alongside Mitch, holding hands as they stumbled over rocks and roots.
The morning had transformed into a warm afternoon, sun high in the sky, and movement all around. The only problem was running from the creature they both had thought was their friend.

"Jerome! Mitch! Please, come back!!!" Deadlox shouted over the long distance that they had put between them.

The two continued running, not looking back at the creature in disguise. But Jerome was confused, he didn't know what to do. So he just did what Mitch was doing, getting the hell outta there.

-DEADLOX POV-

Ty didn't know what to do, the two were getting too far away to keep up with. He needed a boost of speed, he needed..... Wings.

He stopped and looked down at his hands. He knew how to tun back to human, but not how to transform. But time was running out, so Ty did the only thing that  came to mind and imagined wings on his back.

"Ahhh, m-my back!" Ty screamed as he dropped onto all fours, wishing that it didn't hurt as badly as it did.

It all happened so fast, the wings, the tail, it was all there. He was collapsed onto the ground near a small lake.

"Now, where are they?" he nervously spoke, getting up to look at he reflection in the lake.

   "Wait, what the-"

His reflection didn't look like the one before... He wasn't any bigger, he didn't even have any black scales. The only simularity was that the wings and tail still hung off of Ty's back, and his eyes were a very deep purple. Deadlox was amazed at the sight and smiled slyly. At least he didn't look like a man-eating dragon.

'Nice. I now look a little less, umm, scary."

Ty turned around faster then he could before, unfurled his wings, and took off. It was somehow eaiseir to fly when he wasn't carring the whole dragon version of himself, it was really nice.

"I don't think i'll ever get used to flight." Deadlox sighed, feeling more alive than ever.

Beinh in the air gave Ty butterlies, the air was warm and surrounded every inch of Ty's body. Now, it was time to catch up with his buddies.

Ty soared straight up into the air, above all the trees to find the path and where the guys could have gone. He hovered for a bit, looking up and down the path untill- bingo! He spotted them. Ty then flapped his wings as if to fly straight. But it was more difficult than it looked. Deadlox struggled in the air for a few moments before he corrected himself and and began to fly at incredible speeds!

I never knew what I was capable of...

Ty Yelled out to the two, "Please! I was never going to harm you!" But it seemed to make them run more.

Ty was so close, he could almost touch them. If only he was a bit more closer... So he lungged forward as if he was to catch his prey, and caught them by their shirts. Only to make all of them crash and fall to the ground.

Deadlox pushed himself up, rubbing his eyes and letting go of his grip on Jerome and mitch's shirts. He stood to his feet and watched his friends move around on the ground. Jerome pushed himself up, setting his weight on his arm, and mitch was on his knees, trying to help his friend up. He soon glanced over and fear washed over him, as if he wasn't just running for his life a few seconds ago.

"G-get away from us," Mitch yelled. "Y-you, Monster!"

It was these words that echoed through his mind, the ones that broke him, the ones that defined who Deadlox now was. Tears were dripping from his eyes, because after all, the truth hurts.

He Looked right at Mitch, as all hope was ripped out of Ty with the force of a speeding bullet. Ty was now a monster. He scared his friends, he was never nomal. Ty swayed from side to side, feeling light headed and weak. The fear took over him, and blacked out.

- JEROME'S POV-

Ty started to sway, closing his eyes and started to fall.

He is still my friend. I can't deny it.

Jerome lunged forward, faster than Mitch had evet seen, catching his passed out buddy. His breathing patterns were normal, and nothing seemed wrong. It was just the tears that sat undeer Ty's eyes that caught Jermoe's attention.

"What are you doing? He might wake up and-" Mitch started, but Jerome cut him off.

"No!" He shouted. "He is still Ty, and he is still our friend!"
Jerome bagan to pick up Ty, which was easy for a bacca.

"Didn't you just see him a moment ago?!? He Was a flying Dragon hybrid!" Mitch yelled, backing up from Jerome whom had Ty in his arms.

"Do you have a problem with us mutants?" Jerome said sternly. But he was only trying to joke around with Mitch.

"N-no! Why would you think that?" Mitch quickly replied, but was confused with the laughter of his furry friend.

"I was just messin with ya. Now, lets head back to the house." The bacca suggested.

   "yeah. Lets get goin."

   3 hours later

"Now tell me again, why shouldn't we take him to his own house?" Mitch asked while they both approatched their own house.

"Lets just say, I don't think he would be keeping this a seacret from just us. Mabey Sky doesn't know and he didn't want us to tell him." Jerome explained.

Mitch understood, but he couldn't take his eyes off of the giant wings and tail that hung off of the body in Jerome's arms.

It was dark out now, and they made it home just in time to avoid any friendly encounters with mobs.  So the three made it into the house, all unscathed.

"Okay Benja," Jerome said with an out-of-breath voice. "go get the extra bed."

It was easy for a bacca to carry a person, to a point. But when you go for roughly 3 hours, without breaks, carrying a person with extra limbs, the job is just out of the question. The bacca stood there, struggling, while Mitch came running back with a bed in his inventory.

"Got it!" He said as he placed the bed down, allowing Jerome to drop Ty onto the bed.

They both gawked at Deadlox's wings that were tucked behind his body, and the tail that hung off the bed.

"How is this even possible? What would you even call this hybrid?" Mitch was filled with questions, and the bacca only knew one answer.

"Well, he's part ender dragon.  So it would be safe to assume that it would be called 'Enderlox'." Jerome stated.

"Enderlox? Hmmm, sounds fitting." Mitch breated as he plopped onto the nearby couch.

Jerome yawned and streatched out his back. This whole running, and carrying thing can really tire a bacca out. "I-I'm gonna head to bed. *yawn* I'll check on him in the morning." Jerome stuttered.

"I guess I'll just sleep out here and watch the mon- I mean, to watch Ty." Mitch spoken.

The fuzzy Bacca walked over to his friend and gave him a kiss on the forehead, leaving him speachless. But before anything was said, Jerome was out of sight.

"Well Damn." Mitch blushed, laying back onto the couch.

I sure hope nothing happens tonight... I would hate having to hurt my friend if he were to go crazy.

Mitch had a blanket softy draped over him as he fell into a dreamless sleep, clutching his sword close to him.
