After the summer comes the rain [Edward x Winry]

Chapter 4: Misunderstood and lies.

Anna woke up in an empty bed this morning. She was more annoyed than worried to be honest. She noticed that Edward became more and more distant since he came at Resembool. When she lied to Winry and Russell, she actually hoped to make it a truth in the next few days.
But the closer she tried to get to Edward, the more distant he was becoming.
She got out of bed, and went to the bathroom to make herself pretty and take a shower.
Then, she walked to the kitchen and left a paper on the kitchen table saying she went at the groceries store.

Anna pulled her wallet out of her bag to pay her groceries, and smiled at the seller, who also was one of her friends:
-Hey Elena ! How are you ? Asked Anna in an enthousiastic tone.
-Well, very exhausted by work and you ?
Elena asked back.
-Well kinda okay... My boyfriend came to visit me this week but eh... Yesterday He didn't even came back and slept home..
I'm a bit worried...
Answered Anna, sounding more annoyed than actually worried.
-Oh you have a boyfriend finally ?! What is his name? How did you guys met each others ? Elena was more than ready to gossip. ( And she didn't seemed to Care that much about Anna's "worries").
-Well, we met in central when I came to visit my parents, and he is named Edward.
Explained Anna, faking a shy looking and tone.
Elena stared at her, looking confused and surprised. She blinked many times in silence, still staring at her.
-Edward? You... Mean Edward Elric ? Asked Elena.
-Yes, exactly him ! Answered Anna, proudly.
-Ouch... Whispered Elena to herself.
-what? Anna raised an Eyebrow in confusion.
-He didn't told you? Certainly that he doesn't wanted to get in trouble but, Edward and Winry used to be a couple few years ago. Apparently they were even planning to marry each others !
Anna felt like if someone stabbed her, and was moving the freezing blade in her wound:
-W-what? What the hell did you said?
Elena chuckled as she was putting Anna's groceries in a paper bag:
-Well, I know someone that Will get in trouble when he will come back. If he Comes back...? Will he? Do you know where he left Yesterday? Added Elena in a teasing tone.
-Yes I know. Thanks for all Elena. Said Anna, turning her disgusted face into a fake smile before leaving the store.

'So this ugly slut thought she could steal me my man? I'm going to make her pay. I wanted to be nice and had pity for this shitty loner, and even tried to make her meeting a boy, and it's how she thanks me?
I'm going to drag her into hell.'
Thought Anna has she was quickly and angrily walking toward Winry's house.
Once in front of the door, she violently hit the door as a knocking.

Edward left approximatively twenty minutes ago. Winry was in the kitchen, making herself some tea.
Once it was infused enough, she started sipping it.
She put her free hand on her neck, above the hickey previously made this night.
She sighed:
'This dumbass could have avoided leaving a hickey there. What am I going to explain if someone see this? I'm supposed to be single, Well, I'm still but...'

She jumped as she suddenly heard a loud sounds coming from the front door.
-Ah ! Is it some kids making a stupid joke again?
She though out loud as she left her cup of tea  the table before  walking toward the door and opening it.
She was now facing an Anna with a terrible expression painted on her face.
The kind of expression saying "I know everything and you will pay."
Winry swallowed her saliva before talking in a nervous tone :
-Ah... Anna?  Is something wrong...?
Anna stepped in , pointing angrily her finger at Winry:
-You.  Yes, you. What have you done with my boyfriend Yesterday? Why didn't you told me you knew him?!
Winry looked away , stepping back:
-W-well yes it's a childhood friend and I didn't thought that it was such an important detail you know...
Explained Winry, laughing nervously.
-Oh yeah, of course, it's not important to know that one of my friend used to date him ! Answered Anna, sarcastically.
Winry felt trapped.
-Y-yes but it's just the past, isn't it...?
Tried to justify the blond mechanic.
-The past? The past you said ?! It's what you call the past?! Then what's this ?
Yelled Anna, pointing the hickey on Winry's neck.
'Shit ! Edward what you had to leave one?!'
Thought Winry, forced to face the consequences of her acts.
- I fucking hate you ! I am sure you lied and Russell never even tried to kiss you, why would he want to kiss the pile of fat and meat that you are? Edward just had pity for you, like I had before you break my trust.
You are fucking pityful ! You will die alone ! It's all what girls like you deserve ! Just fucking die ! Added Anna, yelling.
