introduction

hello my darlings!!

to summarize shortly, this is going to be a hanahaki disease au between soukoku (dazai x chuuya)! it's going to take place a during the fifteen arc and before the dark era, so dazai and chuuya are going to be 15 in the beginning. :)

for the sake of plot, the story after the fifteen arc is going to be altered, yet odasaku and ango will still make appearances in this story.

a reminder!! much of what happens besides the fifteen arc is not canon! i read everything i could find, so some things will only be half true, and please remember this is only an au so it doesn't matter if it's canon or not :)

WARNING: there will be mentions of suicide/suicidal thoughts and self-harm, but i will place a trigger warning before any chapter mentioning these so you can skip past if you aren't comfortable with those topics!

as this is a hanahaki au, there will also be trigger warnings for emetophobia (the fear of vomiting) so once again, feel free to skip those chapters if you wish. tbh, i would suggest not reading this if you deal w emetophobia, as it will be practically in every chapter once we get past the fifteen arc chapters, it's not worth skipping all over the place. :-/

i would also like to address that there will be no sexual/smut chapters! i just do not feel comfortable writing that kind of stuff and they are also minors in this story, so please respect my decisions with that!

this is going to be an emotional rollercoaster, so buckle your seatbelts and get your tissues!
