Uhm, so basically it's just month by month on how Athanasia progresses. You can skip this chapter if you want, but it's going to be important for the storyline after, so I suggest you read it. Anyways, enjoy!

Month #1

Easy enough, I had started training after the day of my beat up, where I had patched up the injury with a bunch of bandages from the palace, washing out the blood. The injury hadnt been as bad as I thought, and it was more the internal damage that I feared.

I had started my training shortly after that.

Signing every magic book out of every library, I had learned quickly. I was big on studying after all, so it wasn't too hard to catch on to. But magic wasn't the only thing I trained on.

That's right, I was doing physical work as well, pushups, runs, weightlifting.

Or well, if picking up big bundles of hay count as weight lifting that is. There wasn't too many options out in the village, not that I was complaining.

In a month, the results were satisfying, but not as good as I had hoped for. I could still only carry one bundle or hay everywhere, although it was far easier. For my running, I didn't get faster, I could just last longer. I hadn't gained any visual muscles either, so I was still working for that.

Magic however was a different story.

I believe I managed to heal the head injury, because it had been a long time since I felt woozy, and loud noises affected me so much. Every time I'd get a scratch, I was able to heal it easily enough. Otherwise, healing wasn't my priority for magic, and I had focused on attack spells, or anything to defend or attack.

After learning the basics in the books, I was trying to perfect a new style, or well, way to attack. Every magician had their own way, and although it was possible to replicate, you could really only master one thing.

But I wasn't even nearly ready, considering that I hardly learned all the basics within a month. But I had high ambitions, and I could only hope that things went the way I wanted.

Month 2

Things had continued to go well enough, and although I focused on training, I had taken time to visit both Jeanette and Ejekiel. Mainly mad for not having visited him earlier, Ejekiel was still happy to see me, as was Jeanette, who was ecstatic.

Physical training went well enough, but I still couldn't handle more than one barrel of hay yet. My running had gotten quicker though, and I could hold out for much longer. As for my muscles, some were beginning to show on my arm, which I had proudly bragged to Ejekiel. Turns out he has more muscle than me.

"Ejekiel!" I laughed, bounding his way as Jeanette glanced towards me. I had spent the whole morning at their place, and with a proud look, I pulled the sleeve of my shirt to my shoulder. With that I flexed the arm, the muscle showing itself.

"I've been getting stronger!" I said almost jokingly, and I didn't want him to actually get suspicious of my recent training. Especially not with magic.

He peered down, nodding as he gave me a quick pat on my head. "That's really good princess, good job." He pulled back the sleeve of his shirt, flexing his arm. The muscle was more marked out, and it just looked stronger in general.

I had flushed red, feeling embarrassed at the fact that he hadn't even bragged about it, and he was stronger. To save me, Jeanette pranced over, flexing just like me and Ejekiel had.
