I see red!.......and a little blue

We arrived at our school. Jayden said his byes and went off. He goes to a college a few blocks from here.

We entered the school and went straight to our lockers. Our lockers wee right next to each other. Mine 134 while hers 135. Maybe a bit cliché but perfect. "So what do you have right now?" She asked me. "Hmm..." I mumbled, " Chemistry. How about you?" I asked in return. " AP Bio.....look who's coming over." I turned to see Tucker coming our direction with his friends.

I turned back to Crystal." Act natural." She said and turned me back to him , but he just smirked and slightly modded as he passed by us.

" What was that?" She asked, but Cole came over. "Hello..ladies." He said as he opened his locker,130. " Hey there." I said while Crystal simply waved. Cole is my closest friend since freshmen year. He has long brown hair and emerald pearl eyes. He was my first kiss though we thought it would be weird for the whole group if we dated. It was totally mutual.

"Oh happy birthday Bella." He said, taking out a Chemistry book and shutting his locker door." Thanks." I said to him.

" So what you guys doing tonight?" Crystal asked." I have a date." Cole replied. I felt my heart sink weirdly. I didn't like to hear about his love life because I may have a little feelings for him. Okay I have a full blown crush on him.

"Cool. What about you Issa?" I have nothing much planned. I don't do much even on my birthday. I usually just go to the amusement park with my dad ,but he's in Paris right now.

"Nothing. I'm just gonna be home I guess." I said. She looked at me as if I had just said I was dropping out of school. " No you cannot spend your birthday inside. You and have t-" before she could finish the bell rang . " I gotta go. Can't be late for class." I said as I backed away heading to my class." You're hopeless!" She shouted. I giggled and turned around and walked to class.

After chem I had history ,then home ec, then finally free period before lunch. My friend Austin and I went to the arts and creativity room.

Only sophomores and Seniors were allowed in the a and c room. And now we are sophomores. It's a huge room where everyone is free to express themselves and share ideas.

Austin loves drawing and music , while I love literature , dance and acting. We went our separate ways. I go over to this large table where everyone that loves to read and write are found.

I got my laptop and begin to write or rather type in my story. I won't go into much detail right now. After about forty minutes later I got a text from my mom.

Momma: We're almost at your school .You ready?

Then I remembered I had to go do that birthday lunch with my mom, Jayden and Scott. I immediately got my laptop and left. As I was in the hallways the bell rang and people began to get out of their classes heading to the cafeteria ,but not everyone though. As I was approaching the doors I got another text from her...

Momma:We're here sweetie.

I came out and saw Scott's car in the parking lot. As I was approaching he got out. "Isabella, Happy birthday....... Did you receive the gift?"he asked." Umm yeah I did, thank you." I replied." So you liked it?" He asked. I nodded my head and entered the car.

We drove off to some restaurant called ' The vine '. We got in and found a table. A few minutes later a waiter came to take our orders

"So......." Scott began," How is everything going in your academic lives?" He asked the both of us." I guess it's alright. I'm 99% sure I'm gonna ace this mid year exam." Jordan said. I said nothing and just continued looking down at my phone.

"Isabella. Anything new?" My mother asked as though saying 'be nice'." Oh umm school is okay I guess."I said looking up from my phone.

"And?"

"And......I got a c plus in Spanish."

"I was always an A student when it came to Spanish. Maybe I could help you." He said to me. I shrugged a little ," Umm no thanks." I responded. My mom sent a glare that I knew meant I'm still being mean. " Kidding....I would love for you to help me." I said forcing a smile.

       After a few minutes our food came. We ate it all up as we heard stories about Scott and Mom's jobs. It wasn't pleasant hearing about mom at work ,but it was interesting I guess.

       Sometime later we were done. Scott went to get the car while mom went to clear the bill. I stood up wanting to wash my hands ." I'll be back." I said to Jayden as I was backing away from him. As soon as I turned around I bumped into a waiter and red wine spilt all over my white dress.

       "Shit!!!..." I said as I looked down at my ruined dress." I'm so sorry..." A husky male voice said. He got a napkin trying to clean it up." No it's fine..." I mumbled...now looking at his grey blue eyes . He looked younger than all the other waiters. He had jet black and pearly white teeth.

       " No, don't touch her. You might just rip the dress now." Jayden said snapping me out of the trance that I was in ." No Jay it was my fault... I wasn't looking where I was going.... umm excuse me where are your restrooms?" I asked not making eye contact. " Over there to your left." He said pointing to some doors. " Thanks." I said walking away from the two boys.

          I stood Infront of the mirror rubbing the stain with paper towels ,but I already knew it wasn't gonna be saved. I let out a sigh and shook my head.

         " You need a shovel." I heard a female voice say. I see a caramel skinned girl with black hair and light brown eyes. I gave her a confused look and asked,"  How is that gonna remove the stain?"

"Well it won't but I figured you were gonna have to bury it."

I let out a small smile.

" Laura Sandler." She said holding out her hand.

"Isabella Diaz."I responded shaking it.

      We released and I turned to the mirror." Worst birthday ever." I muttered." It's your birthday?"she asked. I nodded and she let out a sigh." Mine too." She said. "Happy Birthday." I said with a smile." Thank you and same." She responded and we both laughed.

       "I'll text you." She said as we exited the restroom." Laura!" I hear a woman's voice call out." Where have you been -" she mumbled but I was taken by the sight of my mother complaining to hear what she said next.

       "What do you mean I can't see the manager?.......oh my word ....look what your clumsy waiter did to her, I mean." She uttered after seeing me. "No mom it's fine let's just go." I said. She let out a sigh." Okay dear." She said and we Left for the parking lot." Don't worry we'll buy you a new dress and we'll sue the restaurant-" Scott mumbled." No need ." I said as I entered the car.Then they all got in and we all left.
