"Where did he go?" You looked around for your boyfriend in an unfamiliar landscape. You and Kenshin were taking a vacation in Hiroshima. Everyone had insisted that the two of you needed a break. Now you were lost.
"Damnit!" You could not find Kenshin. You two were thoroughly separated. You leaned against the wall of a nearby alley.
"Are you lost, pretty lady?" A strange man stood in front of you. You shook your head, uncomfortable with how close he was to you.
"Aw, come on. Dont be like that." The man reached out to touch you and you flinched away. Before he could actually touch you, you heard the sound of a sword being unsheathed and said sword was thrust between the man and you. You knew that sword well. Himetzuru-Ichimonji. You had had that very sword pointed at you before.
"Touch her and it will be the last thing you do." Kenshin wound his arm around your waist and pulled you against him. The man's face blanched as he took in the God of War. He fled the scene immediately and Kenshin sheathed his sword. I threw my arms around him and buried my face in his chest.
"I was looking for you." He chuckled and held me close.
"I'm glad I found you."
