"Gotcha!" You opened your tightly clutched eyes to find yourself in the boy's arms. With the cat tightly in your arms, you pressed your face into his chest that started to rumble with laughter. "Are you okay? That was a pretty long fall."
"I-I..guess." You whispered. He chuckled again before he helped you stand on your own two feet. Your legs nearly gave out. Clutching the cat with one hand, you let your other steady yourself on his shoulders.
"Hey now, you okay?" He asked, gripping your arms. You nodded, while he held a hand on your back, letting him walk you home. You steered occasionally, but he was mainly the one who was keeping you up. When you got to your doorstep, your mother peeked out before rushing over to help you.
"Mother I'm fine.." You legs were still trembling, but you were standing straight enough. "He helped me." You gave the cat's head a swift pat before you wobbled inside with the cat, turning to smile over your shoulder. "Thanks again..." You beamed.
"Anytime!" He grinned widely. The meaning behind it seemed so sweet as he turned away, leaving you and your mother alone.
"So who is he?" Your mother grinned like crazy after she closed the door.
"He just helped me out of a tree." You giggled. The cat mewled again before you walked to the kitchen, setting it down on the counter before you grabbed a piece of pork from the fridge, feeding the small animal.
"So, what are you going to name him?" Your mother asked, scratching it's ear.
"What about....." You were thinking when the picture of the boy flashed through your mind. His smile. "Sugar?"
"So sweet!" Sugar pressed his head against your mother's hand as you got out more pork.
In the morning, you woke to Sugar sleeping next to your head. Yawning, you stretched, rubbing his head before you got out of bed. Getting dressed, your threw on your Karasuno uniform, feeding Sugar some more pork before you ran out the door. Your legs were strong today. Maybe because of Sugar? You felt the rush of the wind through your H/L H/C hair. Grinning, you made it to school, entering the gym where you had practice.
"Y/n!" The Captain, Lyra, waved her hand to you. You waved back, running over. "You seem offly chipper this morning."
"I found a cat yesterday." You beamed as you two walked to the club room. "I named him Sugar." Lyra was gleaming now.
"Oooooh!~" Lyra opened the room and you both walk in. "So, is there a story?"
"It was stuck in a tree and I climbed up to get him down." You sighed as you remembered the fear you had felt. "But I got stuck too. There was a guy who helped me."
"A guy?" Lyra took off her shirt, turning her practice shirt inside out. "What was his name?"
"I don't know.." You pulled your shorts over your legs. "But he was really sweet."
"So that's why you named him Sugar?" You stiffened, until Lyra placed a warm hand on your shoulder. "So cute! I think that guy you met..he might be your soulmate!" She leaned in with a lopsided smirk causing you to run out the club room. She followed, closing it before you two welcome the other members of the team.
During lunch, you found Lyra speaking with Kiyoko. Walking closer, you found them giggling.
"There's the girl of the year!" Lyra waved. "I was telling Kiyoko about what happened."
"I'm surprised you found a guy to like Y/n." She said simply. You flushed, hitting Lyra on the back of the head.
"You are just terrible at keeping you mouth shut aren't you." You mumbled. Lyra gave a deep throated laugh as Kiyoko smiled a little. You hung your head as Kiyoko looked over your shoulder.
"Oh, Y/n, Lyra, have you met Daichi, Asahi, or Sugawara?" She asked. You both shook your heads and Kiyoko's eyes shifted a few inches above your head. You tilted your head in confusion, turning only to have to look up at the large figure standing above your head.
"Oh. You're the gentle giant." You gasped.
"This is Asahi." Kiyoko stepped to your side, introducing them. "This is Daichi, our team captain and this is..." A guy stepped out from behind him. Your eyes widened as you recognized him. He gave you a great smile that widened to find him...
