Two Weeks Later.

People have found something else to talk about and today is my birthday. I'm turning Eighteen years old. My phone rang,it was Hailey.

Hailey: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,HAPPY BIRTHDAY,HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!! *Singing* Happy birthday Best Friend enjoy your day. Have lots and lots of fun. I'm sorry i can't be with you to celebrate your birthday,I'm not around and something came up. I promise I'll make it up to you. Anyways gotta go bye bye i love you.

Me: Thank you Best Friend. I love you too.

I ended the call and went to the living room. Everyone sang for me and they had birthday gifts for me. I think I'll open them later.

So Chris told me to come fetch my gift at his house. I'll go later on i just wanna be with my family for now.

There's cake. I made a wish and blown the candles. I'm so grown.

"Happy birthday Sweetheart" Mom said hugging me.

"Thanks mom" I smiled.

"Group hug"! Dad shouted and we all gathered together for a group hug.

Now this is the family i love. The one who sticks together no matter how hard it is. We always pull through.

The Paul saga has ended. I haven't received any threats,phone calls and text messages. I'm just glad he moved on and stopped bothering me.

Gifts were coming in and birthday wishes as well. Finally Eighteen. Legal age. Lmao. I just took the gifts to my room and placed them on the bed.

In the whole house there were balloons there hanging on the roof. The house was really beautiful. It's nice seeing my family happy,laughing and smiling.

I never wanna be the cause of their sadness and worry. I just love making them proud and mostly making myself proud.

Nothing in this world matters more than my family and friends. Even though they are overprotective but i guess it's their way of showing love and that they want what's best for us.

"So since you don't have any boyfriend why don't you just date Chris and quit the Friend zone bullshit"? Nevin asked.

"No,in case you've forgotten we made a bet and I'm sure as hell gonna win" I said laughing.

Mom and dad left already.

"Aye,who said you will win? Plus you deserve a birthday sex. Gosh i can't believe I'm saying this" He smirked.

"Chris looks like he gives it good" I joked.

"What? YOU'RE FALLING FOR HIM OH MY GOD!! MORE MONEY FOR ME"!! He said.

"Will you chill? I'm not falling for anyone here. I'm better off single. Chris and i are better off as friends. Get that through your thick skull" I said.

"Yeah Eighteen years has really messed up your mind" He smirked.

"Whatever"! I shouted.

"You and Chris would make a great couple though" He said.

"Will you just stop!? I know what you're trying to do" I said.

"And what is that"? He asked.

"You're trying to make me fall for him. Admiring someone isn't a bad thing. Plus i have no man so i have to admire. I have eyes remember" I said.

"Eyes that can't get what they want" He smirked.

"Argh,you're so annoying" I said.

"Annoying? If i am annoying it means what I'm saying is true. I know you can't help yourself when around him and I'm pretty sure he's tired of this friend zone thingie" He said.
