It was a rainy day in the UK today. It rains very often but I'm always mesmerized by how pretty the rain looks. Usually on rainy days George and I are busy and can never just sit around and enjoy it together. So that's what I plan on doing today. "George?" I called out as I searched for him in our shared apartment.
"In here" I heard him say. I opened the door and saw him wrapped in a bunch of blankets on our bed. "George" I said and chuckled at how silly he looked. "It's really cold" he said with a small pout on his face. "Join me" he said and opened the blankets signaling me to lay with him. I chuckled "As amazing as that sounds George, I have something better for us to if you'll join me to our living room" I said and held my hand out to him.
He groaned but nonetheless got up. Before he could walk with me, he grabbed a hoodie and quickly threw it on. He took my hand and I smiled brightly and led him to the living room. "What are we doing?" he asked and looked around expecting something. "We're going to build a fort" I said with a smile on my face as I started to bring the chairs over. He shrugged and went to grab another chair.
"Can you go get the blankets please?" I asked with an innocent smile on my face. He grumbled but did it either way. While he went to get the blankets, I grabbed pillows and the food I had made us. "Let's set it up" he said as he walked out of the room struggling to hold the blankets. We threw the blankets over the chairs and set it up nicely.
After a while of getting, it up correctly and making it look nice George and I finally got it. "Let's go in" I said with a smile. We got inside and I pulled my laptop on my lap. "Food!" George yelled and started talking small bites out of it. I smiled but kept typing on my laptop.
"What are we watching?" George asked as I set the laptop down. "Coraline" I answered with a smirk on my face. He shrugged and gave me a light peck on my temple and snuggled up to me as the movie started. It was perfect.
