Sorry the last chapter was so short this one is longer and better
As I woke up I looked at my clock and noticed that it was 12 in the afternoon. So I got up put on a pair of my black leggings and a white T-shirt with a beach in L.A on it. I tied up my hair into a messy bun and went to make some toast for my breakfast.
I gave mylo his puppy food and I ate my toast. I started to clean up the house. I started off with my bedroom which honestly always seems to be messy all the time, then I went on to the next bedroom my mum and stepdad's room. Yeah it brought back a lot of memories like going to them on Christmas morning and asking if I can see what they got me and on my birthday to see if I could go ice skating or to the movies with my friends. But now I'm over it and they'll come to see me one day I'm sure of it. But somehow deep down I new they won't come back to me.
Then afterwards I did the bathroom, the hall way, hoovered the stairs and finally got the living room and the kitchen cleaned. I never did have a big house it has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom the living room and the kitchen but I didn't mind.
Later I heard the door going so I got up and answered it. It was only my friend Emma so I gestured for her to come in and we sat down and we decided to just watch lots of movies.
The only thing is she was asking where my parents were
"Hey linda where's your mum and stepdad I thought they didn't work on weekends" she asked so I knew I was going to have to tell her the truth
"If I tell you, you swear you won't tell anyone" I asked her in a quite serious tone
"Sure I mean I'm your best friend it's not like Ima go and tell the world"
So I started to tell her what happened with them
FLASHBACK
"It was 5 months ago, and I was walking home from school and when I got home no one was in so I thought my mum and stepdad were away out."
"Until I saw the police at the door and they told me I had to go into care because my mum and stepdad abandoned me.
END OF FLASHBACK
"Then why arn't you in care" she asked
"Because I made a runner and they're still coming after me but I just keep running away from them"
"Oh linda I'm so sorry I didn't know"
"It's ok hey do you wanna stay the night"
I asked hopefully she will says yes.
"Yeah sure" and I know we had school the next day but we went to the same school so it was okay.
I was really glad that I had a best friend like Emma she is one of the most important things in my life ever.
